Cricut Explore 4 Electric Die Cutting Tool/Cutting Machine/Seashell

I absolutely love my new Explore 4. Took me awhile but finally got it, so far I have only made stickers but looking forward to one day be able to get the heat press also so I can do my t-shirts and more.

I love it! I have the first model Explore and it fell and broke the bottom door but still worked. My husband bought me the 4 for Christmas. It’s so fast!!!! And quieter!!!

I love the speed and accuracy of the cuts. I am a little disappointed with the loudness of the maching. It is quite a bit louder than my Explore 2.

I had to replace my Cricut Explorer 2 with a Cricut Explore 4. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I really enjoyed using my Explore 2. I absolutely LOVE my new machine. It is so much faster and runs much smoother than my old machine. The updates are amazing.

I had been putting off buying a new machine because I am a creature of habit (and I didn't like the previous colors of mint, pink, blue). However, my Explore 2 was dying. So, I bit the bullet and bought the Explore 4. I was absolutely blown away by how much faster it goes. At times it concerns me, wondering if the speed with make it wear out faster, but for now it is super helpful. The cons to the new machine is the difficulty I have getting it to connect by bluetooth. My computer will show that it's connected, and the on button turns blue on the machine, but Design Space will not acknowledge it. On the old machine there were better ways to troubleshoot a connection problem, now I actually have to close the program and reopen it in order for it to connect. Also, since the new machine does not have a dial to choose paper type, there is additional steps that you have to take to choose the paper you are using. This is a drag when you have to choose every single time you load paper, even within the same project. Even so, as long as I don't have further connectivity problems, I am thoroughly enjoying how fast I can get projects done.

Set up directions are sketchy. Cuts really fast.

Your free software is a total scam . It is so hard to navigate because everything is rigged to make you believe that purchases are necessary. If I would have known that the "FREE" software was so terrible due to trying to make you pay for something at every turn, I would have never bought this machine.

The Cricut machine itself is fine, but Cricut Design Space is a major drawback. The software is very limited, with restricted editing, poor flexibility, and a workflow that feels outdated. Simple tasks require unnecessary workarounds, and users have little control over important settings. If you care about design freedom, this software may be very frustrating! LISTEN TO ME AND PAY A LITTLE BIT MORE ON OTHER BRANDS LIKE SILHOUTTE.

I absolutely love the Explore 4!!! It is much quieter and cuts faster than my previous machine. I have had an Explore 2 for a few years and it had an unfortunate fall from my table while in use. It kept on cutting and has been working as it should but I noticed the that the gears began making a grinding noise when moving the mat, I had several projects coming up for the Holidays and didn't want it to die in the middle of them. I debated between this and the Maker 4 but chose the Explore 4 because of affordability and it covers all materials that I have used and ever plan on using. I use my Cricut for personal gifts and some money making projects.

I’m having a hard time setting up an account on design space. I’ve tried changing password but it won’t take it. I will try calling customer service

I purchased the machine several weeks back, but can't figure out how to operate the thing. I asked a friend to show me the basics. Hopefully once she does, I'll fall in love with the machine like everyone continues to say.

I am amazed at the cutting ability of the Cricut Explore 4 and the awesome speed. The main reason I purchased this machine was to cut out vinyl patterns for my stained glass. So far, I have not achieved this. I know this was not one of the expected functions of the Cricut but I know this is possible because of the precision and the removable vinyl.
