Q: There's plastic inside the kettle on the pour spout and strainer. I removed the strainer, but can't get the plastic pour spout off. Is this removable?

The clear material on the water level indicator is made of TPX Polymethylpentene the characteristics are similar to those of traditional polyolefins TPX features superb clarity, transparency, gas permeability, heat and chemical resistance and release qualities. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
I love it. Use it several times a day for coffee and tea. Just a word of caution the outside if the pot gets very hot but the handle is accommodating to lift a full pot.

Not the quality it used to be
I have bought Cuisant electric tea kettles for many years. They used to last a long time. My latestest one lasted 5 months and the one prior to this one lasted barely 2 years. I like all the featuress but am diappointed with the quality

Nice tea kettle with problems
This tea kettle was highly rated by various sources. This is our 2nd Perfect Temp Cordless. The lid on the older one started getting stuck and then wouldn't open. it was out of warrantly. Repair video on YouTube was helpful but would take a whole weekend to disassemble diagnose and mend if at all possible. So the first pot still works great it is 4 years old. But lid won't open, so will wind up in a landfill. Not the greatest review but what can I do?

Precise temperature heated quickly
I’m not sure what else can be asked of an appliance like this. It does what it says it will do. I have only used it a few times and with smaller amounts of water but it heats it up to the desired temperature very quick.

Love this kettle! Everyone should have one.
Love this kettle. Replaced one i had since 2018 which i had scratched up by my own fault. This product saved us when we remodeled and enabled hot water when we had no working kitchen. I use it for dinner parties and daily cup of tea. It is a workhorse and very well made. Simple to clean.

Great kettle. Much quicker and quieter than my old cuisinart kettle. Can preset water to reach lower temperatures. Clear window lets you see how much water is in the kettle. Opens all the way.

Leaking from the bottom
I thought it was great at first, but then I realized the water that was on the counter and base after every use wasn’t from me being sloppy. It’s because it is leaking out of the bottom with every use. I also don’t like how it’s hard to see how much water is in it until you place it back on the base and it lights up.

Excellent kettle. Love the filter for limescale.
Bought it because it was the simplest to use kettle with different temperature levels. Delighted by its simplicity. I do have some problems like when I forget to switch it off before emptying out the water, it beeps.
