Dash Pro Shaved Ice Machine Cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dash Pro Shaved Ice Machine was simple to set up and luckily since it’s just water, easy to clean up (just let air dry- watch the ice blade). Great idea in concept especially for summer, but it does take quite a long time to shave only one bowl of ice. I also tried making it coarser as instructed but it kept the same super super fine ice that disappeared when I poured the flavor liquid on top. My boys loved it but I don’t see pulling it out often for them as it took so long for one. Definitely not for party use as the time per treat would keep a hostess away from the festivities. Grateful I was able to try, but not sure I would purchase on my own.

As the warm weather begins to be more constant and summer outdoor activities shove the indoor boredom to the side, this little gadget will undoubtedly be a staple in weeknight or weekend fun. It’s not the highest quality made machine in my kitchen but I think the simplicity is what adds to the overall quality of its existence in a home. I can’t wait to get more use out of it & explore its abilities further during peak summer season

First, it was really hard to use. By the time you shaved the ice in your cup or glass and put your flavor in, the ice has already melted. This is too difficult to use. Cleaning was easy, because it’s just ice. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this.

I’ve already started to buy syrups and look up recipes! It’s compact enough to fit on my counter seamlessly and not take up too much space. The design of this is very user friendly, and it seems that maintenance / clean up will be fairly easy as well! I also love that all parts are included so no extra unnecessary trips to the store!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly really disappointed with the Dash Pro Shaved Ice, Soft Serve, Slushy Machine. My grandkids were over and we were so excited to make slushies, but after taking nearly an hour, and seeing the results, they were over the excitement. First of all, it took way too long just to make two small bowls, which was frustrating right from the start. I'm not sure if something was off with the blade, but it just didnt shave the ice very efficiently. I tried both the coarse and fine settings, and honestly, there was no noticeable difference between the two - it all came out looking the same. On top of that, as soon as you pour syrup over the ice, it melts super fast. To get a decent-sized portion, you'd basically have to shave an entire block of ice, from the mold, which would take forever. Another downside is you have to hold the power button down the entire time and it makes so much noise. After awhile, your hand gets tired, and it just makes the whole process even more inconvenient. Cleaning isn't much of an issue since you're only using ice. Overall, this isn't something I'll be using again or recommending. It just didnt deliver the results I was expecting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy setup and use, my 8 and 10 year old children easily used. Perfect for family nights, sleepovers, parties. The knob allows you to control the thickness of the ice. It is a little noisy when in use but you are shaving ice.. we have used multiple times with easy set up, use and clean up. Very reliable and sleek design.

I personally like this consistency however it may be a minus for others. It took som trial and error to make this work. Additionally I do no t like that you have to hold the button down to shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must have for the summer! My kids enjoyed making their own "snow cones." The instructions were easy, as well as the set up. It comes with 2 plastic containers so your ice is the perfect size to shave. You can choose from fine or coarse ice. We will absolutely be using this all summer long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome!!!!! It comes with two containers to freeze any liquids you want and it’s incredibly easy to use and clean! The ice shavings are the perfect size- melt in your mouth. There’s also a feature that lets you adjust the size for a more or less coarse texture. I really love the ice blocks you can create as you don’t need to buy ice- simply freeze any flavors you desire! Great little recipe book included. My kids and I all adore this and it’s slender for easy storing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was introduced to Korean shaved ice by a good friend of mine when I used to live in California. Since moving away, I have not located any spots where I could get some near me, without having to make a big trip to another part of town to get one. When I saw this machine, I was intrigued and was eager to see if I could achieve a similar result at home. The instructions for assembly and making something with the machine are very clear and easy to follow. A lot of the steps have pictures to accompany the steps to make things easier for everyone using it. I found a recipe online for a milk ice dessert (usually for popsicles) and mixed up a batch to put into the containers for the machine. Once they froze, I put one in at a time into the shaving chamber. It took a little adjusting of the shaving knob to get a steady result flowing at first. But eventually after some fiddling, I got it to a good consistency and the machine did a great job. My one con is the part of the machine that holds the ice in place does not drill/shave all of the block - it has a stopping point where you’re going to either have to discard the little bit remaining, or add another block on top. A little disappointing as there is some waste, but otherwise, the machine does the job well. I was impressed by the texture of the ice as it reminded me of the Korean shaved ice I used to enjoy in California. Now I have the means and device to make one whenever I want! Cleaning is a little tricky for the compartment that holds the ice and the top that holds the ice in place, due to the sharp areas. Exercise caution when washing carefully. Very pleased with this one!

I also love the cream color of the machine! It shaves the ice quickly making multiple cups in a matter of minutes for eager kids and family! I was very excited to try this because it is perfect for making fun summer treats at home. The machine is great for creating refreshing snow cones, slushies, and other frozen desserts, especially on hot days. It is also a fun idea for kids parties and family gatherings!! The shaved ice machine works very well. It is easy to use, runs quietly, and the motor crushes ice smoothly without getting stuck. In just a few seconds, it makes soft fluffy snow ice like. My kids love making their own snow cones, and we have even started trying different fruit syrup flavors!! Cleaning the machine is quick and easy, and it doesn't take much space on the kitchen countertops!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly is rather easy, it also comes apart for storage as it’s rather tall, it may not have fit in my cabinets otherwise. While it quickly shaved ice into a snow cone consistency, I could not get it to work with by adjusting the blade to change it. All it would do it spin, perhaps the blade isn’t catching due to the angle, I’m not entirely sure. If you want a snow one, it’s great. If you want to use it for drinks and such, not so much. With it only shaving on the finest setting, if you try to use it for drinks, it melts instantly. Water based frozen items were more snowy, milk based weren’t quite as fine and more icy in texture and taste. We were excited about all the drinks we could make this summer, but it doesn’t look like that will be happening since it only works in snow one mode. Bummer.

It’s very easy to how to used. Just freeze the ice molds , place them in the machine and you will get soft shaved in minutes
