Truly this is the only dish soap to use. It's a classic. I love the wildlife commercials and knowing this helps save wildlife after oil spills. And it's no surprise because this is truly the only dish soap that cuts throughout grease quickly and effectively on the first run. I tried lots of cheaper brands and natural alternatives but in the end Dawn is king (or queen). Nothing gets gross dishes squeaky clean like Dawn. I especially like the blue version because it is the best Dawn to spot treat stains before putting in the laundry. Extra win, extra value.

I love Dawn Original blue dish detergent liquid and use it for dishes, laundry and cleaning. I’ve found it superior to multiple other products. I recently purchased a new bottle and noted a change in the smell of the product. A sticker on the bottle states “New Clean Scent”. Detest the New Clean Scent, so much that I’m questioning my alternatives. Please go back to the classic original scent. I’m begging you!

Really good at cleaning, have used Dawn for many years. Hadn’t purchased the “blue” in a while and tried it. Wished I had seen the other reviews. The new scent is really very strong and overly perfumed. Used it for cleaning the bathroom on a shower surround surface that requires a gentle cleanser, and am now airing out that half of the house. Will stick with the orange scent from here on out.

You can never do wrong when you use dawn! This stuff is magical! I used it to wash fleas off of animals, it does the job! I use it on the toughest oily dishes and pots! I use it to even wash fridges and dirty stains! I trust that this cleans and kills germs! Amazing!

This is my favourite dishwashing liquid. It gives great foam and the most important - it really lasts. I am using it for 4 months approximately - and there is still half, so it is great value. Cleans dishes very nice, doesn't leave fats. Scent is good

I have been using Dawn Original for years. The scent was perfectly subtle. It is now so overpowering that it triggers nasal irritation and headaches. I recently bought 6 of the 38 fl. oz. not knowing that the scent had been changed. Now I am stuck with soap that I do not and can not use. I will not be buying Dawn any further.

Why,why, why change the original scent? It was hardly noticeable before. Now, it is terrible. The horrible scent lingers and it is very hard to wash away. Disappointing and annoying in every way. I have been using Dawn for years. Now, I'll be buying another brand.

The original blue dawn dish soap has always been a household favorite of mine. Great for washing dishes, but also a favorite of mine for getting pesky stains out of laundry. I love that this particular soap is more nature friendly as well!
