A: You are not missing something, the vacuum is. We have the same issue. called dirt devil 800 # listed on the machine and they said to return it to the store.

A: Ours doesn’t work on any rugs. The Dirt Devil support site said to return it to the store. The store says to call Dirt Devil (again).

A: Our Razor Pet Upright Vacuum has the option to turn the brushroll on/off during use. We also have newer models Multi-Surface Extended Reach+ Upright Vacuum, Multi-Surface Total Pet+, and Multi-Surface+ Upright Vacuum that are designed to lift the brushroll up off the floor when the handle is in the upright position.

Q: Does the brush have a razor to cut long human hair? By long I mean over 2 feet so it does wrap around a vacuum brush pretty badly. Thanks.

Q: I have the Endura Max for about a year and a half. I smell some burning smell even thought the unit continues to work. Does the Endura Max motor has a temperature control (what is the maximum temperature before shut off) or a current limiting PTC or both?

I bought it on clearance, so I had low expectations for it to begin with. It was loud, kinda smelled like rubber when it was running, and stopped working after six months. But I paid $45 for it, so I’m not too devastated about it. Still I’m surprised at how quickly it died with very little use.

When I received my vacuum the box was torn and beat up my vacuum sucks really good but it does not work right it's very loud when it's running it gets very hot I can only use it for maybe 5 minutes at a time I need to replace this vacuum I feel that it's not going to be safe for me to use it

The upright part of the vacuum works great. The attachments aren't the greatest. The turboclaw pet stopped working after one use. I can't Dirt Devil to reply to me for a replacement. Very upsetting

This vacuum is very loud and and we have had problems with the cord rewind as well as the hose coming out of the handle. The connect to keep vacuum upright for example when using the hose attachment does not work and it's always tipping over..This vacuum does pick up pet hair but it also leaves quite a bit behind. Photo attached of hair left from a medium size area rug after thoroughly going over it with the dirt devil pet vac. Canister and filter cleaned regularly. This vacuum has also been replaced once under warranty.
Not happy with this one.

What does vacuum 2 and a 1/2 years ago? The belt has broken twice. Had to replace said now. The brush has popped off. And I cannot find a replacement piece. Not happy now. I have to go out and buy a brand new vacuum cleaner.

Unnecessarily loud, not even picking up as much. Stopped picking up after a year, tried to unclog the hose a few times but it would happen over and over.

bought this vacuum as a quick infill while our built-in was waiting for repair parts .. ended up being used more often than the built-in vac. Works well on all floors,50% medium-high pile carpet and large shaggy area rug .. hardwood and or tile elsewhere.. 4 long-haired shaggy women and 1 shaggy dog ....
My only real complaint is that the top piece on the handgrip is always loose and often is just taken off .. hard on the hands ..
value for money 4 yrs old vac,still working well for about a 120.00 cdn..
