Description

Dyson’s latest purifiers combine intelligent sensing with an advanced filtration system. Two phases of purification sit within our fully sealed filtration and airflow system. So what goes inside, stays inside. An activated carbon filter removes gases and odors and a HEPA H13 filter captures 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns in size. Then Air Multiplier™ technology generates the circulation power to draw distant pollutants into the machine, projecting purified air throughout the whole room.1
Automatically senses and reacts to changes in air quality - then reports pollution in real time on LCD screen and on your Dyson Link app.2
Choose between Fan mode for direct cooling with your choice of 0 to 350° oscillation and Backwards airflow mode to purify without cooling.3
Program your machine to turn off after pre-set intervals between 30 minutes and 8 hours.
Safe and easy to clean with low maintenance, easy-to-replace filters. With automatic filter-life notifications on the LCD or Dyson Link app.
Curved and magnetized remote stores neatly on top of the machine.

I spend a lot of time in our primary bedroom and I have a stuffy and runny nose. and each time I leave the primary bedroom everything clears up. This has been going on for years and my ENT prescribed two nasal sprays. My husband purchased the Dyson - Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP07 and after one day of using it I noticed a big difference. We have had it for approximately 6 weeks now and I can’t imagine not having it. Love it!

Worst than HP02

My HP02 works better than the HP07. The HP07 takes forever to warm up a room whereas my HP02 only takes 10 mins tops. I’m very disappointed and only bought this because the HP02 is sold out. I’ve had the HP07 on for hours and it doesn’t go above 71 degrees

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for this review. It's not normal to hear that your Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP07 won't heat your room, beyond 71 degrees. If the room temperature is already at 71 degrees, you'd need to select a higher temperature than the current room temperature, in order for the unit to produce heat. If your machine is malfunctioning, we'd definitely want to run through some diagnostic troubleshooting with you, to help make sure your unit is working as it should. Please get in touch with our care team directly, at askysonUS@dyson.com. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Older Units are much better

1 out of 5 stars
Zamboni - 2 months ago

Can’t control the heater from my phone, or set it to a schedule like my old one. I got rid of my old heater when I got this so I’m out of luck there. Also, the controls are much less responsive now. Before I could adjust fan speed and temp quickly with my physical remote, but the new units need about 4 seconds in between Fan speed adjustments and temperature adjustments. That delay resets any time you hit a button. It’s like the stupid little screen they put in it is delaying everything with a slow processor and slow animations on the screen. Also, even though this thing is like 6 years newer than my old heater, and even though it’s larger, it heats my room about the same, if not less than it did before. The thermometer is just as inaccurate.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We can confirm that you cannot control the heat on your HP07 with the Dyson app. We at Dyson take safety very seriously when developing new technology for our customers, and we want to ensure that safeguards are built into our products to minimize hazards and risk to our customers. Since the control of products over the internet is still new technology to regulators, in the US now, products contain more stringent requirements until a better understanding of all risks is understood. This is why the heating and temperature controls have been disabled via the Dyson Link app, at this time. I can confirm that our heater+purifier machines are all compliant with safety standard UL 1278, as required by the US government. Having said that, the performance and ability to heat the same size space should remain the same as your other machine. We're always happy to help troubleshoot any issues you may encounter. Feel free to get in touch with us directly at askdysonUS@dyson.com. Kind wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Horrible Quality - Not What I'd Expect From Dyson

I've had very bad luck with this product. The first unit I received came broken. It only heated from one side. Customer service was very good and it was very easy to return the broken unit and get a new one quickly shipped to me. After just a week of use, the on/off button on the device is now broken. It does do a good job heating my room, better than other room heaters I have tried, but the quality control on this product is bad I'm going to return it and move on to a different brand. I'm surprised, as I've been a loyal user of Dyson vacuums for many years, and they are rock solid reliable.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to read your review here, and to see you're not having a seamless experience with your Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP07. It sounds like the first unit was malfunctioning from the get-go, but I was glad to hear that you were able to obtain a replacement machine so quickly. That's the type of experience we always expect for our owners to have. It's unusual to hear that the power button, however, is no longer working on your machine. I am curious to know if the remote control is still able to operate the unit, or if power has also been affected to the remote control and App controls. We would love to learn more about your experience, and provide any needed further support. You can reach our team directly at askdysonUS@dyson.com. Kind wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

5 Star Heater

Very good purchase, will buy again if I need another. Only thing that sucks is the application on the phone prevents me from turning the heat on, forced to manually do this with remote. Also, the for the price of this device, the cord is short, so most people might need an extension cord. Also wish it would let me know how much electricity it’s using on led depending on usage level.

Lot of features

I bought this a few months ago looking for a good purifier for my room. I have allergies to dust and did a bunch of research watching reviews and reading on other users feedback. Is is packed with every feature available, no. Does it do what 99% of the people need it to do yes! I tried the heat setting one night and it worked to take the chill out of the air. This is by no means a heater or designed to be a heater. One of the features I like is you can set days and times for it to turn on and off automatically. I find this very useful as I have it off when I am not home and turn on about and hour before leave work. This way when I do get home it has already been running to take a majority of the junk in her air out. It will adjust the fan speed automatically by how much particulate is in the air which is nice. Only drawback that I had was the WiFi drops here and there and is a pain to reconnect. Otherwise we’ll Worth the money if you want a one and done purification for a room.

Why is the motor whine an unfixable problem?

2 out of 5 stars
Kosta9987 - 5 months ago
originally posted on dyson.com
This is my third purifier. I had two older models (HP03 and HP04 I think), and all of them developed the unbearable motor whine noise. Every time I read through reviews, I find that a large majority of poor ratings are due to this issue. It clearly appears to be a constant pain point for customers that results in poor ratings, frustration with the brand and probably returns. So why is it that after 7 iterations of the product, Dyson still seemingly hasn’t dedicated any R&D into addressing this issue? Dyson supposedly prides itself in its advanced engineering, surely this is not a problem that is beyond the capabilities of Dysons engineering team to solve? And one final suggestion - the air intake shrouds probably deserve a second look. Both the outer shell and the inner shell should probably be made from a mesh material that would allow the unit to breathe. The current design with punched out holes obstructs probably 50% of available surface area for air intake with plastic and probably forces the motor to work much harder than necessary. This also likely results in overall worse air purifying performance which is the key selling point of the product. It’s disappointing to see these flaws remain unaddressed iteration after iteration. Please dedicate more time and focus towards foundational design issues instead of slapping on more software gimmicks.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thanks for sharing your feedback with us regarding your Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP07. From what you’ve shared, it sounds to me that the machine has a low-grade whistling/whining noise, which is more apparent at the lower fan speed level. This can be caused by several factors, the Filter(s) blocked and/or unseated, the outer shell misaligned and/or the loop amplifier being damaged, unseated or blocked. Other factors could also contribute to this, such as if the machine has ever been dropped or carried by the loop amplifier. We'd be happy to help troubleshoot further with you. Please feel free to reach out to us at askdysonUS@dyson.com for assistance. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Does not clean the air from pet smells

I bought this a year ago and I have bought additional air purifiers to make up for the lack of cleaning that this purifier does. I am disappointed with the cleaning quality. The space heater works very well, but the cooling is just a fan and I still needed an AC unit to cool the room. I wish I would have just bought a regular dyson & not this version.

Hey there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for sharing your review with us. We're sorry to learn that you've found the level of purification the Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP07 provides to not be sufficient for your environment. With regard to cooling off your space, our purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. If you have any other questions/concerns, please get in touch with us directly at askdysonUS@dyson.com. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
