Still debating my assessment. Good to know the air in my home is good. Also think it helps taking fragrances and cooking odor out of the house. However when I have the heat on it will just shut off without warning. Called your company—the service rep was not too terribly interested. With my insistence he noted my issue on my record—or at least that’s what he said he would do.

Humidifier clogged up. Called customer care, was a little upset about having foreign agents know my personal information. When I kept saying it’s clogged they thought broken and insisted on setting up a video call. The way Dyson handles issues with a product within 30 days does NOT give me reassurance my information is being kept safe. Especially when a product fails in under 90 days

So I had one of the original Dysons and with the current fires, I bought two more. I live less than 3 miles from the Palisades. The new ones are fantastic and work better than expected. They kick on automatically if it senses hi pollutants. Also my main HVAC unit kicks on far less now. Great for air quality makes an obvious difference.
I like all the features it has.

I bought this purifier specifically because it was also a heater. People, please know, DO NOT expect this to heat any room. If you put your hand up to it when it is on heater, and fan speed turned all the way up to 10, you can tell some warm air comes out, but if I could go back in time I would NOT buy this. There are plenty of great HEPA filters out there, (if that's all you want), for a fraction of the cost. I live in Texas, so it would not take much for a space heater to be effective, and this Dyson HP09 is NOT effective as a heater

The air purifier is okay but the heating and cooling aspect leaves a lot to be desired. Even on full blast it barely heats a small space.

I really do like my Dyson Hot+Cool, but at first it was a "breeze" to use (got it just before Xmas) but this week it's acting weird...or it's me...I don't know. The directions are kind of unclear and while it was working tip top at first, now it's stopping turning unexpectedly. I feel like I need a course with this thing!

I bought this product a few weeks ago, and it is very nice aesthetically and the heater function is amazing. The reason I can only give it a 2/5 stars is because of the smell it produces during the air filtering. It blows out a sour, rotten smell that is not pleasant. & I know it's not the filter, because it has had the same smell since I first started using it. I did find a solution, which was to open the window a bit, but that defeats the purpose of the air filtering. At this point I just use it as white noise or the heater function.

Except a off/on, there are no controls on the HP09. If you lose the remote, you must have a smart phone. This is not good for seniors citizens. Plus you can't buy a replacement remote from Dyson.

The app cannot display the current temperature setting, or the environmental conditions. The four piece filter is more complicated to install than any other Dyson model I’ve ever used. better to buy a used pre-UL restrictions model than this one.

As an air purifier and a space heater, it’s amazing. As a fan or the “cool” part of it, not so much. I bought this hoping to replace 3 devices used in my office/sun room. The fan definitely works but when set to Auto the fan barely produces any wind at all. It would be nice if I could set the fan speed when in auto mode. Also the color is hideous and doesn’t match any room in the house. Nickel and gold? I might as well have a bunch of black lacquer and gold accents everywhere with green shag carpet.. it’s 2024 not 1979
