This product has a terrible battery life and has althogether stopped working one year into owning it. It doesn't have particularly good suction and cannot get close to walls or in corners well. It's so expensive for a really disappointing product.

Nothing like a cordless vacuum! It makes cleaning fun again. The Dyson does a wonderful job and even does the stairs. The only downside is that it does not hold a charge long but still so much easier to navigate than a big upright sweeper.

Assurances were given that contact would be made within 48 hours, but that never happened. After nearly an hour of waiting, I finally had the opportunity to converse with a live representative through text chat, only to find out that my request had not even been registered. Overpriced garbage

I bought a $400 Dyson V8 on clearance almost 3 years ago. Immediately noticed it didnt have great suction and will spit out anything bigger than a pine needle but was okay with that since we mostly were picking up pet hair. About 6 months into use, the max mode was completely shot, and the battery on max lasted about 30 seconds. Now, just after my warrenty expired, the battery doesn’t hold a charge for more than 4-5 minutes on low. I can’t even vacuum my whole living room in my small apartment or my whole sedan car. I contacted Dyson and they told me they’d get back to me in 24-48 hours. Over a week later I contacted them again and they said I had to buy a $200 battery. If you’re paying this much for a vacuum it better be good quality and last a while, and fixing it for something that is a quality issue shouldn’t cost me half the price of the machine. Will never be buying from Dyson again.

I purchased this vacuum during the Black Friday sale. Within 3 months, the Max Suction option caused the vacuum to turn off completely. You could only Max for 15 seconds. When charging, the battery seems to not be able to charge to full anymore, consequently causing the operating life to be minimal. I’m lucky to be able to vacuum two rugs without it dying. Incredibly disappointed in this product and would not recommend anyone purchase it.

I bought this before we moved into our new house so the return window has expired but this is the worst vacuum I’ve ever purchased and the most expensive!the battery doesn’t last long enough to vacuum my 3 bedrooms, even on a full charge. I’m very unhappy with this purchase, and will probably go back to Shark.

I really wanted a Dyson, and wanted to like it, but it just did not meet my expecations. We had a Shark before, and it just didn't pick up crumbs, pet hair etc, as well as that one did. I also don't like that you have to hold the button down. I will try a different.

I’ve wanted this vacuum for a couple years, tried to give myself a boost to spend over $300 for this beautiful object. FINALLY, hunny and I agreed it was time.. I was so excited. But it’s like expecting your first time to give you the big O.. HUGE disappointment..The suction on this thing is VERY good- but you need to have Flash’s speed because the battery dies in 7 minutes!!! Couldn’t finish vacuuming my TINY home..

it started out really great and I loved the flexibility in the maneuvering. However after a month of using it won’t work. canister is completely clean and it’s fully charged. Back it goes.
