Q: Just purchased today. It was in two sealed boxes. There was no CREVICE TOOL! There was a picture of one included in the instructions. Am I missing something??

    Great product with one exception

    So far I like my Dyson V8 absolute. It maneuvers very easily around furniture and under furniture . The runtime has been plenty long I can vacuum my whole 1400 ft.² downstairs with it without running out of battery The suction is great I haven't really cleaned the filters yet Because I've only had it a little while. Well I love everything else about it except I don't like having to hold the power button down for the whole time while Vacuuming. It should just have an on off switch. It also puts a blister on the top of my thumb area if I don't be real careful how I'm holding it while vacuuming. But it does a great job. The bin is easily emptied, which is nice.

    Love it

    I am disabled and I love the fact that I can pick this light weight vacuum up and tend my daily needs of keeping the floor cleaner. I have a Dyson Animal also and it takes a lot out of me to get it out just for daily cleaning.

    Quality product

    I’ve had my Dyson Absolute for almost a month. So far I’m very pleased with its suction power, maneuverability, its lightweight design, ease in emptying its canister after use, and the cordless portability. It holds its charge well and recharges rather quickly.

    Carpets are looking new again!

    This is my second Dyson cordless vacuum and I noticed that the suction Is even better than my first one. I was able to vacuum my whole house without having to recharge the battery. I’m very happy with my new V8 model.

    Disappointed

    I had high hopes for this but sadly, I was disappointed. IMHO, this vacuum is form over function, over engineered and complicated, lacking the suction which is the main purpose. Using only the head with no attachments, this vacuum refused to suck up a small cobweb from a distance of only a couple of inches. I cleaned it up and returned it.

    Good vacuum

    I bought this for my MIL. I got it because I love mine(I have a different Dyson model) and it was easy to use. The only complaint I would have is the design for dumping the collection bin. It’s hard to understand and a little stiff to achieve the release. Hopefully it will get easier as it gets used more. She is almost 80 yrs old and has arthritic hands. She does like how light weight it is and it does an amazing job cleaning her floors and furniture.

    Happy with V8

    I live in a townhouse so keep one vacuum at the top of the house and one downstairs. Previously I had a v8 upstairs and a v10 downstairs. I have always been happier with the v8 and when the v10 broke recently I decided to buy a further v8 as a replacement. So far I have been very happy with the new v8.

    Not worth the money

    I don't like the fact that the vacuum will not stand up on its own when you aren't using it, and I don't like the fact that you have to push the button constantly for it to be turned on. I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a light like my old vacuum that was much cheaper had. The only good thing I can say is that the suction is Fine.

    Great cleaning power but fairly average battery

    Battery life is very short - was hoping to use this to clean cars on a weekly basis but it runs out prior to the car being finished. If that battery life was 1.5x as big it'll be useful for that.

    Great vacuum

    I bought this to replace my Dyson V7 that I had for over 10 years and the battery finally died. This was on a deep discount so it seemed like a good deal and I've been happy with it so far. The only downside is emptying it is kind of awkward. It moves really well, works great vacuuming all the cat hair that I have and overall I'm happy with it.

    Purchased 2nd Dyson a month ago, because 1st worked so well. It is very convenient and easy to use. Highly recommend.
