Q: Just purchased today. It was in two sealed boxes. There was no CREVICE TOOL! There was a picture of one included in the instructions. Am I missing something??

    low quality compared to plug-in dysons

    insane how low quality this is for being a dyson. i’ve always had dysons, so i assumed this wireless one would be just as great. wrong! that’s why you should never assume lol. a FULL CHARGE would last me 10-15min MAX. not sure if it’s because i’d hold the trigger button for better suction or what, but the suction was not good at all. returned it after a week and swapped it for a cord one. the cord ones suction is like 8x better than this one.

    I have all the accessories just needed a new vacu.

    I’ve had more than 5 Dyson vacs over the years and still have two plus the new on. One in the caravan, one in the shop and one in the house.

    difficult for arthritic hands

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

    I ordered my Dyson about a month ago. I’ve tried other vacuums—they all fell short. The V8 is lightweight and powerful! It’s easy to maneuver, and does a great job. I can vacuum my whole house on one charge! The filters are easy to clean and maintain. It a dry and dusty climate, this is a plus!

    So far so good

    I’ve had it for 2 weeks. Happy, mostly because the ease of use changes behavior: I clean my house with greater frequency. I had bought an “elbow” as well, an attachment that gives you a 90 degree angle to clean under the furniture. Don’t buy it. It makes the vacuum arm too long, too heavy and unwieldy. The biggest problem that I have with the V8 is that the mechanisms to open the vacuum for cleaning and emptying is finicky, the parts are so small that it feels like they’re going to break next time you use them. So far so good, but I’m worried. Battery is fine.

    Dyson is good.

    This cleaner is very good. Has good suction which was sadly lacking in the previous cleaner we bought. Battery seems good at the moment, and maneuverability is excellent. Lives up to it’s name.

    I am totally sold

    I am astounded really. A domestic assistance person brought a Dyson with her, instead of using our old and quite good vacuum cleaner, which hurt her back she said. I could not believe what it picked up. We decided to get a new one, found out what she had used and ordered a V8 Origin. It's incredible and I can use it easily too mid-week. The hardest bit was learning to empty it, lol. I am not good at reading graphic directions. I am totally sold!

    Good, but battery & wall mount should be better.

    Dyson V8 offers good suction, smooth maneuverability, and comfortable ergonomics. Its main drawback is the relatively short battery life. The wall‑mount bracket works, but routing the charging cable through the narrow slits feels awkward. It’s functional, yet the overall design comes across as a bit flimsy and somewhat cheap.

    Bin awkward

    OK but emptying bin very awkward. It was sticking and flap did not open. Then it got stuck half open and I couldn’t close it. Checked instructions online then out of the blue I gave it a thump and it flipped open!

    I bought the v8 asan up grade from dc9 and wasn't disappointed it's better suction better emptying and doesn't block up as easy well worth it's money and great maneuverability and long battery life
