    Easy to use

    I was gifted my Dyson from my daughter . I have always bought the cheaper stick vac and they work OK but this Dyson is awesome !! Maneuver so much better , suction is better and the filter seems to work really well. Living in the desert, we need good filters

    Always a Dyson fan!

    This is my third Dyson stick vacuum and my second V8. As always, very pleased with my purchase. However, the fittings seem a little flimsier than my previous V8 where you attach the pole to the vacuum is a little wobbly and doesn't feel as secure. Would not have replaced my previous V8 however, after just over 2 years it didn't charge very well and I couldn't use it on max power. There was not enough battery strength. Still a big Dyson fan and will always repurchase would just like them to last longer!

    Very impressed by this cleaner

    I am so impressed with the improvement of the V8 compared to my previous V6. The design changes make it easier to use - suction is easier to control, emptying is easier and cleaner, and changing tools is too.

    I have just purchased my third Dyson. I have the V8 now. It’s great value for money and long lasting. It’s easy to use and maintain and has great suction. I wish it came with the same attachments as the V7, but luckily they are interchangeable so I just use my old ones.

    Worst customer service

    Loved the power of the machine. Was baffled by the customer service of Dyson when it no longer held a charge for longer than a minute after only having been out of the box for under two years. All customer service agents acted as sales agents only trying to sell me on parts to fix my vacuum that they ought to have replaced given the circumstances. Will never buy from Dyson again for sake of principle.which sticks for me because I do love my airwrap but if that ever goes out I will be trying a shark instead.

    Not too sure yet.. I purchased the Dyson 8 Advanced on the understanding that it had a 40 min run time as per the DYSON page. However since purchasing and reading the Online Manual it advises Powerful Mode is only 25 minutes run time and MAX mode is 7 Minutes. Not ideal with a long charge time required for such a short run time. Whilst the site offers the option of sharing screenshots to show me to show this the 'add image' doesn't allow pasting.

    Item purchased at almost half price. I should have known better. The Dyson battery died after a full charge within 12 minutes of use! I thought maybe use it on the lower power mode and same thing, it would die after a max of 15 minutes. This product never held a 40 minute charge and then died completely a month outside my return window. I suggest you don’t purchase. This is junk. I would give it zero stars if possible!

    Great Machine but has issues

    Great Machine and it works very well. However I have an issue with the disposal of what it captures. The disposal does not work correctly. when I pull up on the discharge red disposal fitting the entire unit comes apart but does not open the trap to dump the debris. How do I fix tis or is it defective? Please advise.

    Battery life so much better

    Very happy with my V8 Dyson. I can vacuum longer on this battery before it needs charging and it cleans so well.
