Q: Just purchased today. It was in two sealed boxes. There was no CREVICE TOOL! There was a picture of one included in the instructions. Am I missing something??

    Great Suction

    Dyson V8 has got great suction. It's lightweight and so easy to empty the dust bucket. It comes with the crevice tool attachment as well but I wish it also had a brush attachment go vac the couch, then this would be 5 stars.

    Disappointed

    The run time is shorter than they say. It takes a very long time to charge. Ergonomics can be better. As you can tell I’m not loving it, considering returning it. For the price it should be better than it is.

    Too Convenient

    This is our second V8, the first V8 was used daily on cat litter cleanup and a run around the main floor for over 7 years which I would rate 4.5 stars, our 12 year old big ball Dyson gets limited use, typically sits in the closet. Like the improved vacuum head, and motor update. I can run on low for most needs.

    Has some extra features

    This is a replacement of an early model V7. We had issues with cleaning the filters on the V7 so I hope the V8 is better.

    So far, so good. Lightweight and effecti e cleaning. The longer lasting battery on the V8 is much better than the previous V6 and the easy release button to change heads is a big improvement.

    Great Hoover

    I purchased the Dyson V8 about a month ago and can honestly write that it is the best hoover we have owned. Previous hoovers have all been mains powered and also difficult to use in so much as suction being very strong over carpets we both struggled with them. The Dyson V8 is brilliant as it just glides across carpet and floors picking every thing up as it goes, everything about it makes it the best hoover we have actually owned. The battery lasts 45 minutes or thereabouts but I have not got to the stage where the battery lights actually indicate low charge remaining. I although only used it for around a month I highly recommend it

    It feels quite cheap and plastic-y but, so far, works very well.

    Happy Senior.

    Cleaning seems to be so much easier and quicker , it just stands there ready to go .I have a small house and it is perfect for the size of my place . Best thing is so convenient to use.
