Q: Just purchased today. It was in two sealed boxes. There was no CREVICE TOOL! There was a picture of one included in the instructions. Am I missing something??

    Awesome appliance!

    I bought this to replace an older V8 vacuum that I somehow managed to break. It is lightweight, easily maneuverable, and does a great job picking up dirt and debris.

    It does what it says on the box.

    I find the run time sufficient for my needs. It's so light weight that I didn't think there was much suction but the dust container says differently. I've found all the tools useful. The only drawback I can find is not being able.to carry all the tools I need with me. As I use it I will get used to knowing what tools work best where. Because of the way the vacuume is stored in the dock. It makes it easy to use daily. Maneuverability is very good.

    Good battery lasts a while

    Glad i bought this I find it nice and light quick and easy to use, The waste drum is easy to empty and shut just wish it had a separate button for turning off and on you have to hold button to use hoover. This hoover is better than the cabled ball hoover which i find very heavy.

    Great Performance, but Battery Life Could Be Better Review: I’ve been very happy with my Dyson V8 overall. It has excellent suction, is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and does a great job picking up dust and pet hair. The filtration is also very good, and it’s convenient for everyday cleaning. My only complaint is the battery life. The runtime is quite short, so I have to recharge it frequently before I can finish cleaning my home. If the battery lasted longer, it would easily be a 5-star vacuum. Overall, it’s a great cordless vacuum with strong performance, but I wish the runtime were better.

    Suits my needs.

    I am very happy with this purchase. I bought the v8 to replace a v6 I had purchased approx 10 years ago. The v 6 still works ok, but I couldn’t buy new heads for it. I now use it in the garage to keep the floor tidy.

    Questionable suction

    I owned a V6 model for a long time. I decided to replace it because I did not want to replace yet another battery. The V6 was not holding in the debris so at the end of the vacuuming I would hold it up to put it away and a fair amount of debris and cat litter would fall out. This happened whether the vacuum canister was full or not . The same thing is happening with this V8. I have to get a dustpan and brush to sweep up the extra debris. That is assuming that the battery is out of power by the time I finish. If it isn't out of power then I have to put the vacuum on high and vacuum the fallen debris and hope it stays in the vacuum. Finally the thing I miss about the V6 is the light. That was the most useful feature. If I had known the V8 had no light I probably would have chosen a different model.

    Great Suction

    Dyson V8 has got great suction. It's lightweight and so easy to empty the dust bucket. It comes with the crevice tool attachment as well but I wish it also had a brush attachment go vac the couch, then this would be 5 stars.

    Disappointed

    The run time is shorter than they say. It takes a very long time to charge. Ergonomics can be better. As you can tell I’m not loving it, considering returning it. For the price it should be better than it is.

    So far its wonderful

    The suction is great, The runtime on high could be longer. I do wish they had used a better grade of material on their devices. Overall its the best i have had.

    Great machine

    Great stick cleaner

    Bought this after using an inbuilt vacuum system. It is terrific, easy to use, empty and recharge.

    Too Convenient

    This is our second V8, the first V8 was used daily on cat litter cleanup and a run around the main floor for over 7 years which I would rate 4.5 stars, our 12 year old big ball Dyson gets limited use, typically sits in the closet. Like the improved vacuum head, and motor update. I can run on low for most needs.
