    Light weight

    I really like being able to use in my car & for quick cleanup. Fits nicely under my furniture. I do wish that since 3 attachments came with it that it stored all of them.

    Dont buy

    If you wanna spend $300-$400 on a vacuum that maybe works for the first week go ahead and waste your money. This was the biggest waste of money that I’ve ever bought that not only does it not hold it battery the way Dyson says it will. It also decides that it won’t spin its bristles. So defeats the purpose of a vacuum.

    Great vacuum!

    I've had this for several weeks now, and it has made life easier for me. It isn't terribly heavy, and like all Dyson products, the suction is excellent. It has two settings which I've found useful; it just isn't necessary to use the high suction setting on tile or laminate flooring. My one complaint is that the mechanism that is used to empty the dust bin is sticky and catches on itself often, I'm always in fear that I broke something. The directions in how to use it are vague, and while I've figured out how to do it, it doesn't always slide out as it should. The runtime seems to be adequate, My wife ran the battery down once, but it generally has plenty of power to last through the end of the jobs we need it for.

    Dyson V8 is brilliant. Very easy to use and very.

    I bought a Dyson V8 about 3 years ago and it has been great so when I needed another cleaner for another property I bought another one. This V8 Absolute has more attachments and is just excellent. I'm so pleased with it. It's light and very efficient.

    Great suction and great run time

    My third Dyson and definitely the best. Only complaint at first was the emptying mechanism was very awkward to open but after a few goes it has become easier. The latch seems very delicate and we were concerned it will snap off.

    Great product 100% recommended

    Suction is brilliant, pet hair does not get tangled around brush as with our earlier model. Our previous Dyson lasted 11 years just battery failure reason for changing.

    Not like my old Dyson

    Enjoy vacuuming

    Had this for a month Wow the suction is great. Soo easy to use, I hated pulling the clumsy vacuum cleaners around. One issue I found is emptying the dustbin. The pull release button was hard to pull up and difficult to close again.

    Worth the Purchase

    I’ll be honest — I wasn’t sure a cordless vacuum could handle our household, but the Dyson V8 proved me wrong from the first pass. The suction is genuinely impressive, pulling up pet hair, dust, and debris from both hardwood floors and carpet with zero struggle. The lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver from room to room, up stairs, and into tight corners without the fatigue that comes with a traditional full-size vacuum. The filtration system is outstanding — you can actually see the air quality difference, especially important to me with allergies in the house. Converting between floor head and handheld mode is fast and intuitive. The bin is easy to empty without getting your hands dirty, and the runtime is solid enough to handle a full cleaning session. The one thing I’d flag for anyone considering it: the trigger button must be held down continuously while you vacuum — there’s no lock-on feature. It’s a minor ergonomic adjustment, especially on longer sessions, but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. Definitely not a dealbreaker given everything else this machine delivers. Bottom line: the Dyson V8 is worth every penny. Quality, performance, and convenience wrapped in a sleek design. This one’s staying in my home for years to come.
