    Battery life not good

    My house is 1800 SF, all tile. The battery does not last for me to clean the floors and the takes hours to charge. Holding a trigger to turn the vacuum on is a feature that is uncomfortable.

    Disappointing

    Just got this here are my observations and experiences: 1. Extremely small waste canisters 2. You must continuously pull the trigger to keep it going. 3. Horrible process to empty canister. You will catch your finger! 4. It is not adjustable meaning when you use some attachments, you can’t adjust the length. 5. Difficult mounting plate in terms of how the charger fits in it. I love Dyson and had a pet upright for 20 years but this is a huge disappointment

    Great machine!

    Once I realized I didn’t need to use Max power, this machine delivered like a champ. I love the convenience of just lifting it off the charger and zooming around quietly and efficiently. I waited too long to get one and highly recommend it.

    Vacuum sucks well - lol

    It's a great vacuum - great suction and maneuverability. The wall unit was easy to install so you can hang it out of the way on the charger. The rinse-able filters are nice. I don't like the cheap plastic construction. You have to be careful when emptying and cleaning it because it can be easy to break a plastic part.

    Best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned.

    So happy I bought the Dyson. My central vac has the long cumbersome hose to deal with and the electric one has the long cord and it’s loud. Dyson is lighter weight, great suction, quieter, and the suction head turns in all directions. I love it and highly recommend it.

    With all the accessories that comes & helpful

    I bought this V8 vacuum 3 weeks ago and I love it. It's quiet than my previous Dyson and the Suction & Ergonomics I noticed is very powerful. Of course my previous one is a V6, one level down but no matter what it last for over 10 years +. No second thought and definitely will recommend this Dyson products.

    Absolute worst vacuum I have ever bought. I have had Dysons before that have been great, but this one has been the worst I have ever owned. It worked great for about 8-9 months and then started making a weird sound where it would turn on and then turn off when it was in max and then later on would do it when it was in the regular mode. I washed filters and it still did that. I cleaned everything out and it still did it. I ordered new filters and it continued to not work. Dyson sent me a new one and it worked for a couple of months and it’s doing the same thing. The first one they said it was probably the motor. For an almost $500 vacuum, you think it would work longer than 8-9 months. It is easy and convenient and I love that it’s easy to charge with the wall charger. On max it does a super great job, it just doesn’t last.

    I'm happy with my new Dyson so far. It replaces one we had for 5 years with no issues. We'll see if it holds up without problems. Probably too early to tell. So far so good. It is quieter than our last one.

    Pleasantly Surprised

    I bought this a month ago and I am pleasantly surprised by the performance. This is my cordless vacuum so I was a little hesitant. The battery life is great and the suction as well. The only issue if it is one, the canister is a little small, but otherwise it is great.
