My only complaint is that

My only complaint is that the polymer lid for the grinder cup isn't a perfect fit. But the whole system is pretty good, and easy to set up. You just measure the beans you want and it's got an automatic stop when it gets done. This is a great value for home brewing.

I love the compactness and

I love the compactness and looks of this grinder. It is so cute and is rated highly for grinding beans for pour over coffee. I am enjoying the ritual and results of grinding my own fresh beans that I get from a local roaster and the smoothness of the pour over method. I have been drinking Nespresso expresso for almost 20 years and thought coffee was too weak for me. I was wrong!

Frustrated

I’ve had to breakdown my grinder several times within 4-5 months of ownership. It’s truly unbelievable. I clean and maintain it well and it still seizes up and makes intermittent grinding noises. After looking my issues up online, it seems to be a common trend

Not perfect, but pretty close!

Home brewer, my first new grinder after 10 years with a conical burr, and I’m loving it. _So_ much faster, quieter and consistent. I do recommend Fellow calibration instructions, RDT and looking at the grind chute after initial grinds, use that knocker and see how often you get build up in the chute. I make a lot of decaf and medium-dark coffee (nothing dark, oily), and I’ve got a routine of cleaning gently, once a week, with a toothpick over a ramekin (grinder in a working position, no surgery).

This is a world-class grinder. Its grind size is remarkably consistent, it’s surprisingly quiet, the retention is astonishingly near-zero, and it looks fantastic on my coffee counter. It’s a true masterpiece of design and engineering. Major KUDOS yet again, Fellow!

Great addition to a coffee station that's making espresso and drip.

Quiet, consistent clean grind, and doesn't throw grinds out onto the counter. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, and used it 15 or so times. Looks great, and if it is still working 5-6 years from now (like my Baratza Sette has), I will be thrilled! I got this because I wanted to dedicated the Sette to use with my new Fellow Series 1. I love not having to switch between espresso and drip level grinding. I recommend this grinder.

First Grinder Experience

This is my first grinder and it is very good. It is not as quite as the description and reviews mentioned but it is okay. This is very heavy and solid built as soon as you open the box you will feel the sturdiness of the grinder. The grind is very consistent and happy with it.

Seemless Grinding

I'm immensely pleased with this grinder. It's the quietest grinder I've ever owned. It's very precise. And the retention is minimal, always getting the same amount out that I put in. The auto stop is a very nice feature as well. Highly recommend

Grinder regularly stops working

I bought my new grinder a month ago and like it except that it regularly breaks down. Then we have to unplug and hit it on all sides to dislodge the grounds so the machine will start working again. Wondering if I should just return it?!?!?!

So far, so good

After 5 brews, pleased so far. Still dialing in my grind and amount for our Moccamaster. We drink fresh dark roast Kenyan and I make a full 10-cup pot. This morning, I used 57.5 grams ground at 7.2; it was pretty full-flavored and smooth with a trace of bitterness. I love how quiet the machine is and how quickly it does its job. Seems pretty consistent.

Great Purchase

Bought the Ode Gen 2 Grinder as part of an Aiden Bundle. What a great purchase. Easy to use and consistent grinder with a small amount of retention. The package of Aiden and Ode Gen 2 is a great modern coffee making environment.
