    Instinct 3: An upgrade from the 2 B&W display.

    I've just recently received this 50MM Instinct 3 watch. The AMOLED is well worth the price. It has all the usual features of an Instinct watch, but is so much more. Out of the box, the display turns off after a short time, which is just fine for extending battery life - mine says I get about 17 days with PulseOX on. The apps and widgets on the IQ Store are what really make this worthwhile. I was able to add a CGM widget to the watch, which works much better than the B/W CGM watchface. Adding in color weather, color maps, a car parking app, and a much better display of SMS messages make it all worth it. The depth and width of new watch faces are striking, especially those that let you change the data displayed and the colors used.

    Fitbit gone, Hello Garmin!

    Replaced a Fitbit Charge 5 that finally died. Which is a good thing, as ever since Google bought FitBit, it has steadily declined in accuracy and user friendliness. Which is I suspect the case, as Google only bought it for the data files. My new Garmin has been great! I'm still getting used to the features. I am apparently not sleeping as well as my Fitbit lead me to believe. Still working on that one.

    Auto pause doesn’t work.

    I expect garmin watch to be the best but auto pause is terrible, it won’t restart despite turning on 3D and updating to latest software. It just sucked and you have to turn off auto pause.

    Fantastic Features

    Fantastic watch, I charged it the first night and have been wearing it every day since, it tracks my steps, sleep scores, and is very accurate. The watch is very user friendly and easy to navigate through. Would buy again for sure!

    All around cool smart watch

    This is my first Garmin watch and I gotta say...I LOVE IT!!! I bought this a few weeks back because I was tired of my old Apple Watch that would not last a whole day before the battery died. Now my new Garmin watch has gone almost 3 weeks before it needed its first charge. WOOP WOOP!!!! Even though it doesn't have all the same functionality that the Apple Watch has, it has everything I need and a few more cool options. I love it and I'm still getting used to it because of all the functions it does have. Thanks Garmin for making an affordable, durable, and all around cool smart watch. :- )

    Love it. Just retired my 12 year old Garmin fenix 3hr. It still worked great, battery needed charged every 3 days. This new one is packed with features. Hard to improve from my fenix but they definitely did.

    Great watch.

    I have had Instincts for a number of years (first generalion, one eSport and one Solar). They have been great watches. I loved the Amoled screen on my Forerunner 165 and thought it would be nice to have on an Instinct, so I got the new Instinct 3 with Amoled and passed on my first generation Instincts to my grandsons who are in Scouts and they love them. I love the new watch and my old eyes can read the Amoled so much better. I didn't anticipate needing the "torch" function, but use it a lot. My only nit pick with Garmin watches is the band. Not a fan of silicone bands. They are good bands, I just don't like the feel for some reason.

    I have been pleased with the Garmin watch. I have been surprised and happy to use the handy flashlight function as often as I do. I also like the compass when in unfamiliar areas. Just a very usable, and useful, device.
