Not for Iphones
It’s actually a really cool watch. I think it was intended for android users though. I bought it out of liking the style, but a lot of the features are not available on iPhone. Accessing contacts is one and replying to a text is another. Nowhere in the description did this say it would run into issues with iPhone users. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be the first to deal with this so if it’s an ongoing fact, the least these guys can do is give a heads up so we don’t waste our time and money.

Great smart watch for working out
I've had the Venu3 for a month now and love it. I also have the Fenix 6 but they have very different qualities. I bought the V3 to replace a Fitbit Versa4 and I'm so glad. The V3 tracks everything I do at the gym, whether its aerobics, strength training, treadmill or rowing machine. Plus its tracks my walking with GPS instead of steps (although it does that as well). Looks good and I can wear it swimming as well. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic Health Tracker
Love my Venu 3, I wear it constantly. Upgrade from the Venu 2. Accurately records HR, stress, sleep, body battery, etc.

I am so happy with my Garmin Venu 3. I got it to replace a dying Venu 2 and I hoped it would be a consistent and reliable replacement. IT IS SO MUCH MORE! It has so many more features, and it watches over me in so many new ways. I couldn't be happier with it

Great features!
Love all the features. The quick scroll. This is the first watch I've had that I'm able to answer phone calls from even when my phone is not in the same room. My husband says the sound on the receiving side is pretty good too!

Great for a while
I got this retirement gift two years ago. I really liked it but it just stopped working. Would not hold a charge then would not even charge at all so I threw it away. Think I might go to an Apple watch.

Every day it’s trying to do an update. I have hard reset it 3 times. Followed all the troubleshooting instructions and it still does it. It doesn’t record my steps, also doesn’t sync to my iPhone all the time.

Connection issues
In the beginning I loved it. It did everything I needed and wanted it to do and then some. In the last few months it won't stay connected to my phone. When it disconnects I have to fight with it to reconnect.

Great Watch.
I love this thing. I have been a long time Apple Watch user ever since the first one came out. The Apple Watch for me felt cheap while the price increased as the years went and I got tired of hanging to constantly charge it. With this Venu3, I love everything about it including the battery, the accuracy it gives when I’ve had a stressful day, and especially the morning reports I get. This kicks Apple in the butt. I also love the price point of this too. My only minor complaint is if I’m using my Apple Maps or gos, it dkesnt give me haptic feedback like the ape watch did but that is very minor and doesn’t warrant a star deduction.

Venue 3 watch
I am two years into wearing my Venue 3 watch, after researching the Garmin line of watches the Venue 3 fit my needs, very easy to navigate all functions, helping me keep on track with exercises and getting my daily steps count completed, I am extremely satisfied with my Venue 3 watch.

Life saver
My son bought me the Venu3 for my birthday 2 years ago after I had a heart attack. July 1st 2024. This July 1st i was back in the hospital. My watch showed my heart rate would drop to 26bpm. In actuality it was doubling up. I was having an extra heartbeat every three or four beats. I'm doing fine now. I love my watch. I wish I could figure out the golf app...lol!

Functionality and Design Review
Bought this about a month ago after buying a Forerunner 170 and a Venu 3 and returned both. Functionality: I’ve tracked a couple walks and I like how it tracks elevation. The graphs are elegant and insightful. The Garmin app has had no trouble syncing the data so far which is awesome because I ran into that issue in the past with Fitbit. The automatic sleep tracking and nap detection has been pretty spot on in my experience. I like the movement reminders because I have a desk job and it’s nice to be reminded to move my body often. The UI of the buttons and touch screen is very simple and intuitive. Tutorials were helpful and I got the hang of it quickly. Music download does take some time but it’s so nice to not have to take my phone on a walk/run and still be able to listen to my workout playlists while I’m out. Battery lasts pretty long! As advertised it uses about 10% a day - more on days where the face is more active I’m assuming. But it charges quickly when I’m in the shower and I love not having to charge it daily or even every 3 days. It lasts a whole week at least which is great. Design: I love the size of this watch. Doesn’t take up my whole wrist and still has a big enough screen to display everything I want. I downloaded a couple watch faces that I love (Fenix being one of them) and I get everything I need at a glance. The watch strap it comes with is comfortable for daily wear but I did buy some handmade leather straps for more dressy occasions and the charcoal color of the watch goes well with dark brown, light tan, and forest green leather! Love the look of it. I’m really happy with my purchase. I have a relative with the same watch and it’s lasted him a long time so I hope I get to enjoy it for a long time as well!

Quality watch ...
Just received the replacement for my venu that had the watchface display go blank. Outside the warranty so cost me the replacement fee. The watch features are very good.

Great Watch, beats the competition
I purchased the watch about three weeks ago and love it. I have owned the Apple watch Ultra and the 11 and I find the garmin very clear, love the roundness, and how effective the battery alone is. The battery to me is awesome, defitnely Garmin has dominated the market on the battery. So many functions, health to me is better than apple. I believe this will be my watch of choice now. I loved it so much, I bought the Vivosmart 6 in about two weeks. Now i alternate and love them both, so By bye Apple / Hello Garmin. I'm Team Garmin now. What will be my next one?

Harv's 3
I upgraded from the 2. Love the 3. Tracks my 75 year old carcass pretty well for many of the things the cardiologist likes to see. BIGGEST COMPLAINT it does not have a Treadmill WALKING setting for us "Old" people who fron knee replacements can not run anymore.

Disappointed with long-term reliability
I really enjoyed using the Garmin Venu 3. The health tracking, battery life, smart notifications, and overall feature set are excellent, and it quickly became my favorite smartwatch for balancing fitness tracking with everyday use. Unfortunately, I've now experienced the same display issue twice. My original Venu 3 developed problems with the screen colors and backlight and was replaced by Garmin with a refurbished device. Approximately eight months later, the replacement watch has developed the same issue following a software update. Garmin support has been helpful, but for a premium-priced device, I expected better long-term reliability. I love the functionality of the Venu 3 when it's working properly, but based on my experience, I have concerns about the durability of the display over time. If Garmin addresses these reliability issues, this would easily be a 5-star product. As it stands, I can't fully recommend it without reservation.
