It burned and caused my sister’s eyebrow to swell after already washing it out. Didn’t burn or cause a rash till after the process was done. And we did follow the directions fully.

Got the dark violet purple color advertised to work especially well on dark hair with no bleaching required, was really excited about this color. It turned out to be the ugliest red I've seen, all the other reviews saying the purple comes out red are correct. The dye was a orangey terracotta color and didn't get much better. I'll literally never purchase from this brand again.

I used this on my natural dark brown (nearly black) hair and it barely made a difference. I have long hair and used 2 boxes but it only made my hair maybe a half a shade (if even) lighter. Nowhere near the color advertised on the box. Waste of money.

This shade is vastly different from the original, which is the one I have always used. If I were to use this new version on my roots i would look ridiculous. My hair is bright red like the original color but this new version is mahogany. So using it on my roots I would have a darker stripe down the middle of my head.

I have been using BR3 color for years, absolutely love it BUT as of lately something is wrong. I'm pretty certain the color dye has changed. It's alot lighter, not covering my grays & washes out within a couple weeks & I don't even wash my hair everyday. I noticed it the last time I used it, some grays weren't covered, figured it might have been me. I just dyed my hair again, & nope HUGE difference. I naturally have dark brown hair, tell me why my roots are lighter. So frustrated because it's my bday this wknd & now I'm going to have messed up hair.

Do not buy or use if you want a genuine purple like shown on the box. It’s like there was ZERO blue added to this color formulation. I thought it looked funny when the bottle was looking pretty orange but I trusted the process because the bottle can sometimes look different than the completed hair, But no, just straight up red hair.
Lesson learned the hard way.

Just like most everyone else on here I should have came here first. This was NOT purple it was RED!!! Horrible disappointment since I leave for my trip before I can fix it. The color on the box was exactly what I was wanting but unfortunately it missed the mark.

Whatever you did to change the formula, please please change it back. The new formula is awful. Too thick it dries on my hair and the color is now an orangey red instead of a true red. I’m going to have to find a new brand.

I'd give it a zero. I don't know if it was an expired box or what but it turned my hair bright orange and I followed the instructions to the T. I've never had box dye do that. Thankfully it also did not STAY in my hair and washed out in 3 days. Maybe it was just a bad box but I'll never risk or try this again and hope it never happens to anyone else

I’ve used this colour many times before and always loved it! The colour hs changed since the reformulation and it’s a LOT more ORANGE! Not what I wanted at all! My hair is now ruined when I just did it for my anniversary! NOT HAPPY!

Color on the box is super misleading. My hair is more of a red/orange than violet. Either the box picture needs changed or the actual product.

Well to be honest, it turned my scalp red. When mixing the product it looked orange and I was very confused. I dyed my hair on April 12 and the color is still coming out. Staining my towels, shirts, pillowcases. Do not recommend.

The color came out great surprisingly on my dark brown hair. What I completely dislike is the fact that the color transfer even after two weeks! The second my hair gets wet it bleeds color, dying my pillows, hoodies, shirts, etc. Anytime I do my hair, my hands end up stained from the dye. Definitely not worth it to me.
