Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color Nourishing Hair Color Crème

Amazing always use this brand I’ve been using it for years, never disappointed

I bought *Dark Intense Violet* and I already have brown hair as the recommendation stated, and it came out as a red color, more of a maroonish color. Highly disappointed in my hair not coming out as intended. Waiting a few more weeks before picking up a different brand that has been reliable in the past.

I used the darkest blue and my hair looks beautiful in my dark hair! If you have thick hair I recommend buying 2-3 boxes so the color can really stay on :) been using this box dye for years and never fails me

I used 1 box to do highlights, to add some light tones in my hair that was a dark brown to begin with, it turned out a light caramel color... very subtle look. Looks natural.

It burned and caused my sister’s eyebrow to swell after already washing it out. Didn’t burn or cause a rash till after the process was done. And we did follow the directions fully.

The dye itself is nice but my hair definitely came out red and not purple

Got the dark violet purple color advertised to work especially well on dark hair with no bleaching required, was really excited about this color. It turned out to be the ugliest red I've seen, all the other reviews saying the purple comes out red are correct. The dye was a orangey terracotta color and didn't get much better. I'll literally never purchase from this brand again.

I used this on my natural dark brown (nearly black) hair and it barely made a difference. I have long hair and used 2 boxes but it only made my hair maybe a half a shade (if even) lighter. Nowhere near the color advertised on the box. Waste of money.

I have been using BR3 color for years, absolutely love it BUT as of lately something is wrong. I'm pretty certain the color dye has changed. It's alot lighter, not covering my grays & washes out within a couple weeks & I don't even wash my hair everyday. I noticed it the last time I used it, some grays weren't covered, figured it might have been me. I just dyed my hair again, & nope HUGE difference. I naturally have dark brown hair, tell me why my roots are lighter. So frustrated because it's my bday this wknd & now I'm going to have messed up hair.

Do not buy or use if you want a genuine purple like shown on the box. It’s like there was ZERO blue added to this color formulation. I thought it looked funny when the bottle was looking pretty orange but I trusted the process because the bottle can sometimes look different than the completed hair, But no, just straight up red hair.

Just like most everyone else on here I should have came here first. This was NOT purple it was RED!!! Horrible disappointment since I leave for my trip before I can fix it. The color on the box was exactly what I was wanting but unfortunately it missed the mark.

It dyed my hair red but that’s okay since technically that is the color I put it over pink hair

It comes out dark black not a bkue black at all. I ended up looking like wedneaday adams from the animated kids movies.

Red?!?? NOT PURPLE!! It's a nice dye but it's definitely red... sigh. I'm not even blind and it was red!!

I am a loyal and faithful client of Garnier for years. I have always bought the Garnier Nutrisse Soft Black dye which has always covered my grey hair. This is the ONLY brand of hair dye I use. When I went to buy my usual dye, I noticed the box had changed to new packaging look. I found the new materials packaging to be problematic and had more steps to prepare the dye which is unnecessary. The previous packaging was so easy, saved preparation time. • The dye bottle itself seems to be poorly designed in that I had a hard time getting the dye to dispense. I had to cut the tip hole bigger to ensure the dye came out and the bottle itself was so hard to squeeze. • The developer packaging (B) with the red strip is a nuisance. Why did you change the way we opened it before… the previous packaging was so easy and not cumbersome. • The new oil packet didn't snap open so I had to cut it. This extra step to add the oil is a waste of time. Could you have added the essential oil in the developer or colour crème so that this extra step is not needed? The BIGGEST problem and disappointment with this new version of the dye is that it is definitely NOT the same product I have been using for years! The green thick cream on my hair after I applied the dye made me quite concerned and worried. When I washed and dried my hair, the grey hairs were not black, but rather a light brownish colour, not black. Sadly, I still have 5 boxes of this hair dye left because I like buying in bulk so that I don’t run out. But the change to the formula has made this unusable for me. I will be throwing them out. I have been a faithful customer for years. Just to let you know that I can no longer be buying/using Garnier Nutrisse hair dye because of the new formula change.

Whatever you did to change the formula, please please change it back. The new formula is awful. Too thick it dries on my hair and the color is now an orangey red instead of a true red. I’m going to have to find a new brand.

Nutrisse ultra creme #73. The number hasn't changed, but the colour is different than a previous product. when you change the colour, you should change the number. The quality is not as good. The product washes away quicker and has lost it's golden red hue. You lost a customer

I'd give it a zero. I don't know if it was an expired box or what but it turned my hair bright orange and I followed the instructions to the T. I've never had box dye do that. Thankfully it also did not STAY in my hair and washed out in 3 days. Maybe it was just a bad box but I'll never risk or try this again and hope it never happens to anyone else

I followed the directions and left the color on for the maximum amount of time, but my hair color barely changed.

The new formula isn't working at all didn't cover the Grey and i tried twice thought maybe I did something wrong the 1st time I have been using this color for years and worked great why will u change it very disappointed 😞
