[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this instant instant pot. It has made my life so easy. I can leave the food in the instant pot and after one hour it's already cooked. I don't have to worry about getting it burnt or anything. It's very reliable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to try a new Instant Pot 6 qt. Multi cooker with accessories and was soo incredibly happy with it! I have had an original Instant Pot for over a decade and it's been a staple in my kitchen. There are so many great upgrades that this new model has that have been so impressive though! The screen shows more information and has more options like displaying about how much time is left for pre-heating (which by the way seems to take less time than the older models), it lets you adjust the settings like cook time after you've already started pre-heating it (which couldn't be done before) and it lets you turn off the keep warm setting manually (which couldn't be done before either)! It also has a great design for the steam release valve now that includes a switch off to the side to release it which is much safer. The power cord is permanently attached now also so you don't have to worry about misplacing it! The Instant Pot still cooks all of my family's favorites just as well as the original and will definitely get a lot of use in my house! The possibilities are endless in them: soups/stews, cakes, egg bites, rice, main entrees, eggs, the list goes on and on! An added bonus is that this model comes with a silicone egg bite/muffin pan with a lid so breakfast and snacks can be made simple! I can't recommend this Instant Pot enough and am so excited to have been able to try this new and improved version! If you're new to Instant Pots or are still rocking an older version, do yourself a favor and give this one a try! You'll be so happy you did!

It's a Christmas gift. It was shipped in the original box....it was not even placed in a cardboard box to ship. Very disappointing. I won't know till December if the insta pot works or is broken.

I honestly was rushing to make a late dinner one evening and threw in some mostly frozen chicken wings and it cooked them perfectly. The amount of things you can do with this is great but being able to cook things quickly and everything coming out falling off the bone make it work the purchase alone!

I use my instant pot regularly. My last one had a piece that broke off, was looking for a replacement piece, but with Target sale price it was cheaper to buy a whole new unit. The new pot won’t have the same issue, better design.

I don't like that they took away the steam function. and I wish larger models were available without being an airfryer or something else. overall works well so far only used it once but seems to be similar to older models. This is a replacement for an older model that after 7 years of heavy use needed to be put to rest.

The instant pot is perfect

This pot is quite popular, so I ordered it right away when I saw it on sale. I was disappointed when it arrived — the new pot had a dent on the side, , and the digital screen came without a protective film and already had scratches. It feels like it was used before, which is very unpleasant.

Should of got one sooner

damaged item, can not replace

I was shocked when I opened my package and realized it wasn’t my order at all. It was a return meant for someone else, complete with her full name and address still on the label. This is a serious privacy issue and really concerning.

Do NOT buy this if you plan on using the slow cooker function. The pre-heat takes an absurdly long time—every single time. I've tried multiple recipes that require both low and high heat, and no matter what, I end up waiting hours just for it to preheat and actually start cooking. It's beyond frustrating. For a product that's supposed to be a convenient, all-in-one solution, this feature is a total failure. Complete waste of money if you're counting on it as a slow cooker. I'd much rather have a separate slow cooker that actually works.
