Yes, you can mute/unmute your microphone by tapping/pressing a button on the JLab Work Buds earbuds themselves! Here's how it works: Boom Mic: The JLab Work Buds have a detachable boom microphone that you can attach to either earbud. This boom mic is what picks up your voice for calls. Mute Button: When the boom mic is attached, you can press the button on the earbud with the mic to mute or unmute it. Indicator Light: There's usually a red light on the tip of the boom mic that indicates when it's muted. This is a very convenient feature, especially for calls and meetings, as it allows you to quickly mute and unmute your microphone without having to fumble with your phone or other device. There actually is NOT a way to mute the microphone on the Work Buds through a button press. You have to mute the mic through the standard software method, like on the teams or zoom app. I do apologize about that, but definitely do not let that stop you from trying out the Work Buds, they're absolutely game changing for calls.

A: Hi Yaya, as long as the devices are bluetooth compatible, that's what matters. If they have a way to select an audio output device from the radio/walkie itself, then you should be able to connect the workbuds to it! hope that helps

The battery lasts all day, over 8 hours, and they are so comfortable that I forget they are even in! I typically use one earbud, but once it starts getting busy I will use both. I love that I can listen to my podcasts all day and if my office phone rings, the phone call is prioritized and automatically pauses my podcast to take the call; the other 2 brands I had to listen for the phone to ring, close everything out and then I could answer the call. It defeated the purpose of multipoint connection! If you're on the fence with these, don't hesitate any longer! I promise, you won't regret it!

Excellent device and functionality - this has been a lifesaver for me at work! But it was hard to set up initially and I wish the team may it more intuitive. That said, once you overcome the initial hurdle, it's a breeze to use and makes work and life so much better. I have to also mention that sound quality is amazing!!!

Like: hopeful functionality, ease of use and longevity. Deceitful marketing: looks were deceiving, no instructions for fitting, ring tone and painful!! Ear is red and itchy. Not made for humans and definitely not worth the price. Terrible packaging.

I purchased this Work bud in-ear headset with boom mic on Aug 31, 2023 and have been using it for about 8 months now mainly for work meetings. The pros would be the sound quality, the app to monitor and control background noise. The cons would be the design of the case and how the buds sit inside of it. I have a hard time taking them out. Perhaps having a magnet release button or design the case that allows room for your fingers to access and grip the buds easily would be helpful. Another con is the boom mic design. I had encountered many occasions where the bud which the boom mic is connected to coms loose and fell off. The buds are designed to turn one direction to lock into your ear, but the boom mic has enough weight to it that it naturally turns your bud in the opposite direction which unlocks it from your ear. Perhaps if the connection to the boom mic is located in a way where it naturally turns/twist the bud in the same direction as locking the bud would be helpful. Overall, it's a decent ear bud.

Great ear buds, would 100% buy again! Exactly what I’m looking for, hooks up with my both laptops and cell phone and really easy to switch back and forth. If I’m watching a video on my computer and then start looking at a video on my phone the audio switches back and forth. Love that I can customize the control buttons to commands I set, one I actually use and can remember how many taps does what since I set it. Like the plugs that go in the microphone port to keep out d dust when mic is not in use/attached and that it can be switched from side to side, I usually don’t wear both at the same time so that’s a major bonus. I do wish the plug was not black, they’re small and black so blend in when trying to insert the little piece, a contrasting color would be nice and easier to find in case you drop it. Also wish there was a compartment to hold the plugs in, they’re very small and I’m afraid it’s going to be very easy to lose. And perhaps a more secure place in the case for the microphone when detached, it’s off just a little and pops out easy so again I’m afraid I’m going to lose it. I don’t want to lose the pieces, it’s what sets these earbuds apart from my regular earbuds I use just for music. Got these so I can answer calls when working from home and they work like a dream, call quality has been wonderful, no issues with clarity. I answer public service calls from my work computer and listen to music between calls while I research and I love I don’t have to switch out earbuds paired to only one device AND I don’t have to go to settings on one device to connect to the other, it just happens automatically and I don’t look like I’m “playing on my phone”. I actually love these so much I’m contemplating buying another pair for work even though I’m supplied with a very nice Bluetooth headset that works just fine but I like these better. And bonus points, they don’t mess up my hair like the work headset does!!! The band the goes over the top from my work set has my hair looking crazy without me knowing and I’m walking around the office looking like I don’t know how to brush my hair. Can’t wait to buy another pair once they work my suggestions in!🤣🤣 For realsies tho, L-O-V-E these, I didn't know my life was missing these and now I don’t want to be without them. -Sincerley, Someone Who Has An Ear Bud In 23 Hours A Day

I bought these about 4 months ago, after being a loyal fan of the Go Work Wireless for almost 2 years, and let me tell you these are amazing! I easily spent 6+ hours daily on calls as I work remotely, and I only have to charge the case once a week. The sound quality, the battery life, the case size, everything, and it also helps me a lot with the fatigue from having my ears covered for such extended periods of time. I use them with my laptop and Android devices. The only not-so-nice thing is that it doesn't have a mute button, but so far I'm very happy and will ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND these.

I have been using these for over a year now , and they work prefectly! I use them for work and I only use one at a time, that way if I can switch between the left and right if they battery starts to run down. The charge time is very quick, and I can be connected to my work computer and My cell phone at the same time!
