Here's what the information suggests: Audible Click: Many users report that the mouse has a noticeable "tic tic" sound when clicking. It's described as being "quieter than most" Logitech mice, but not silent. Not Marketed as Silent: Logitech themselves recommend their M330, M355, M220, and M350 models if you are looking for a mouse specifically branded as silent. DIY Modification: Some users have even gone to the extent of physically modifying the mouse by replacing the switches to make it quieter, indicating that the original click is not particularly soft.
