Q: Can you use a paper filter when brewing grounds?
A: I use some, coffee tastes fine, easier clean up too
submitted byRosegrl79 - 9 months agoA: I use a small paper filter as it’s easier to clean and have had no issue with it and have had it for around 9 months now. I just bought the small single serve filters off Amazon
submitted byShannon - 8 months agoA: Manual says not to, but it works fine with the #2 coffee filter. You will have to use it with the permanent filter to recognize it.
submitted byJason - 8 months agoA: Yes !! Never ever put coffee grounds down your sink drain , it will cost you a HUGE plumbing bill !
submitted byAbsofnlutetly61 - 9 days agoA: This system isn't compatible with paper filters.

Q: can i make espressos with this machine?
A: Why does the video for specialty say you can use espresso grounds if you can't make espresso?
submitted byjenntrinity41102 - 8 months agoA: It can’t but there’s a “specialty” setting that you can use to make a concentrated 4oz coffee similar to espresso. It’s similar to moka pot coffee if you’ve had it.
submitted bySky - 7 months agoA: This does not have an espresso setting.

Q: What is the temperature of the hot coffee?
A: Although there is no exact temperature we can provide, we confirm that its coffee is as hot as any other specialty's coffee made from other coffee makers in the market.

Q: Is the permanent mesh filter easy to clean?
A: I've always knocked out old grounds in compost bucket or trash, NEVER sink. * Then blast with sprayer (filter up side down) before stains set in. Easy Peasy! 😄
submitted byMaxx - 8 months agoA: Yes, it is very easy to clean.

Q: Does the frother use steam to heat the milk/milk alternative? Or does it only whisk to create foam?
A: The Integrated Frother does not heat milk; however, it transforms hot or cold milk or milk alternatives into silky, smooth froth. It is removable for easy cleaning.

Q: is the pod adaptor compatible with nespresso original and vertuo? thank you
A: The Ninja Single-Serve Pods & Grounds Specialty Coffee Maker accepts only K-Cup-style pods, it isn’t compatible with Nespresso Original or Vertuo capsules. For the most reliable brew performance, we recommend using Keurig-branded pods.

Q: What is the best way to clean the water tank?
A: For everyday care, simply lift the water reservoir straight off the unit, wash it by hand with warm water and a mild dish soap, rinse thoroughly to remove any suds, then air-dry or towel-dry before reinstalling. The reservoir is also top-rack dishwasher safe if you prefer that option. After any deep-clean or descaling cycle, it’s a good idea to run a water-only brew to flush out any residual taste.
