Love the ice cube tray! Hate that whenever I pick up from the Avon Store and mark that I want to use my own bags ( I have an open soft-sided crate in the trunk) they bring out my order in plastic bags anyway. 🙁

Excellent big-cube covered ice tray.
Big cubes that last longer in drinks than average cubes and are easy to clean. I've been using several of these for 2+years.

Keep this stuck on the store shelf.
Way too difficult to remove ice. It should simply pop out, it does not. As the instructions say "Run bottom of silicone tray under water to help release cubes.” So unless there is a tray, in the sink, as water is running over the bottom to release the cubes, the cube can fall into the sink! Yuck! And running cold water was a waste of time, then moving it to warm water was also a waste of time and running warm/hot water was what did it, but the cubes melted from the temp change. Way too much trouble when a party is on and you have to deal with all the time and trouble.

Makes great ice, but ...
It's very difficult to get the cubes out of the tray. I'm not an idiot, but this tray has me stumped.

Great for large ice cubes
Since my fridge doesn’t have an ice machine, I use this almost everyday! From iced coffee to matcha, and more. Love the lid, and that the silicon has a little plastic tray to rest in. My one complaint, that my partner has also commented on, is that it can be difficult to remove the ice cubes from the container. The tray is silicon so it’s possible but it takes a little finessing!

Great for cocktails
Great for making old fashions and bourbon on the rocks. The silicone tray comes out for easy single ice cube removal

Good in theory
Hard to use, great idea but not easy in practice. Cubes are hard to get out. Doesn’t live up to the OXO name

Too didficult to be practical
In theory this ice tray looked great but in practice, not so much. Would not recommend. When the blue cube section was left in the tray (with or without the lid), water wouldn’t freeze but just a little bit. Finally tried just leaving the blue part on the freezer shelf on top of an already frozen freezer pack. Ice! BUT, the cubes are almost impossible to get out of the tray. My fingers ache with cold and effort; my $5.99 lidded silicone tray from Aldi did a much better job!

Highly Recomend
The ice cubes are large and keep drinks cold. They look very nice in a rocks glass. The easiest way to get the ice cubes out of the tray is to push from the bottom with thumbs, center ones first. Then push the other ones out, continuing to push from the bottom. Sometimes the tray is a bit inside out. Silicone is very flexible and can handle it with no chance of breaking.

love the cover
I love the size & the cover, it’s very convenient when freezing things like juice, broth, pesto, etc. My only (& kind of big) problem is trying to get the frozen cubes out. My hands hurt & the cubes have started to defrost when I finally get them out. Not sure how to solve this but am hoping to because other than that, they’re great

Best square cubes!
The hard plastic outside mold makes a great base to the silicone mold, otherwise the silicone would get wonky as it's flexible. It can sit on uneven surfaces and support itself. It's easy to carry from counter to freezer, one hand rather than two to support the flex of the silicone. Plus it's cheap! Similar items run $25-$40! OXO can be bought at a variety of places.
