The Dyson 360 Vis Nav did a good job mapping my house but refuses to clean the master bedroom and master bath. Tried to clean the entire house twice unsuccessfully. Looks like I'll have to remap the house. It did a good job cleaning the areas it did clean.

Too early to say!

We purchased this device approximately 2 weeks ago, and it's too early to form an opinion. It's a rugged little beast that does a good job of collecting dirt, debris, and dog hair. However, the mapping is a bit complex and difficult to fence off furniture. The unit gets caught on many pieces of furniture, and it needs to be rescued. It also runs out of charge and often dies in areas where it was vacuuming rather than returning to the charger.

love this thing

we bought this cause we were struggling with robot vacuums that just could not handle our dog hair. This thing has been amazing. We had kept trying to try different robot vacuums that emptied themselves, but we’re running into the issue where they weren’t actually doing the job we needed them to do and we would 1000% rather empty a canister and know that all of the hairs and dust and dirt is getting picked up. The only qualm I have about this is the mapping sucks unless it is in a central room. We really wanted it to be in our guest bedroom on one side of our home and we have a very small home and it could not figure out the map until I made its home the center of our whole house which is our living room now it works great but that’s the only bummer

Very difficult to use, and has many issues

6 year old robotos worked well on my 1st floor. But dyson cannot find route back, keeps spinning in one location, low suction, noisy, flashes intense lights. Did not expect this. Sorry.

Cleans great, but get hung up & lost regularly.

I purchased this unit to clean my 1600 s/f office. It cleans wonderfully when it running, but every morning we find it hing up on things or with a dead battery. Cannot seem to find our centrally located and highly visible docking station.

It did more damage to my furniture bumping into everything than it actually cleaned. Horrible product and has made me rethink future Dyson vacuum purchases. Also AI generated keyword section of survey is glitchy and useless.

Pretty decent.

I waited a long time before I invested in a Robovac, hoping to let the technology mature. Overall I'd say I bought at the right time, but there is a still a very long way to go if this is a shining example of how far we've come. The good: 1) Mapped my house no problem. 2) Does a decent job of cleaning, and the auto suction control feature is great. It seems to know how much dirt to expect, and applies the right amount of power. 3) App is pretty decent. 4) It's great at dealing with minor obstacles, transitions, getting under furniture; this is brilliant because it means my house is cleaned in forgettable places such as under beds regularly. The bad: 1) Robot's sensors need cleaning a lot. Like, every one or two uses. I was hoping for a machine I could basically just empty but it needs almost constant maintenance or it fails on cleaning runs. I wouldn't be able to just reliably leave my house, tell it to get to work, and rely on it. It needs manual intervention a lot more than I expected. 2) The zoning function of the app is very poor. The fundamental flaw in the the robot is that it doesn't do one zone then move to the next, sometimes it will do part of a zone, go on to do other things, then come back. It's like they gave the robot ADHD, which is frustrating when I want to tell it to do rooms X, Y, and Z, and put them back to normal when it's done. Instead of a room being out of commission for ten minutes, all the rooms are out for 30, for example. 3) The zoning also doesn't work well because even though you can zoom the map of the house to see how much dirt has been cleaned, you cannot zoom for placing markers, so the zoning is pretty difficult to use. It's a small phone display and not being able to zoom in means less precision. I'm glad I got this on sale; I would be very disappointed if I paid full price. Would like to see software / firmware updates to correct the above, then it would likely be a remarkable machine.

Cleanest Clean!

Easily the most powerful vacuum we’ve ever had. Rivals our Dyson V10 Animal. After a couple weeks of deep cleaning, the dust bin is mostly very fine powder. We’ve never seen this type of collected powder. 2/3s of a point off for hide-and-seek with the charging station and 1/3 point off for needing recharging more often than our other robots. We bought a second one for the basement.

Still the most powerful robot vac

Took advantage of the sale to add my 3rd VisNav to our home. Killer feature is ability to just drop it in a room, close the door and it vacs the whole space, then texts you when it's done. I don't care about mopping. The bin only needs emptying after every 4-5 uses. The app is quite good and intuitive. The unit is very well built. Love the full-length brush bar that makes quick work of the job. Running on AUTO is the way to go, and battery lasts long enough to finish the job most times. Have had zero issues with units finding the dock. The HEPA filtration is solid and the filter is permanent and washable. The dirt sensors are easily cleaned and any dirty-sensor notification can be bypassed in the app anyway....a "dirty sensor" notification doesn't cancel the cleaning process. This thing feels like it will last.

Not bad robovac... but needs improvement

The robovac is good overall and the cleaning performance is decent. Battery is great and easily enough for what I need it to do. Controls onboard are super basic and confusing; Controls in the (phone) App are nice and have pretty much all is required. Quality of materials the machine is made of are great. Most of the time it navigates around the floor nicely but not without quirks (noted further down in the Areas of improvement). Areas of improvement: - it bumps into furniture - while those bumps are soft, I worry it may leave scratch marks - it's getting lost sometimes and I need to help it return to its base. (seems to be getting disoriented more when it's dim) nothing major though and I'm pretty sure those issues can be fixed with software updates.

Good suction, horrible battery

I bought this to replace my Roomba, Which continually got stuck on nothing or had other issues. While I think it does a better job getting up dirt, The battery life is abysmal and, unfortunately, it keeps getting stuck on nothing. Just stops in the middle of the room or sometimes right in front of the dock as it was returning to charge. So long story short while I Believe it is a good product, I am disappointed with the continued issues

Easy to use but the map cannot be edited to reflect the unit more accurate. Also the robot 3 out of 10 times wanders without knowing where the home is when it has finished the cleaning, requiring human interruptions. Other than these two problems I am happy to own this robot. Hope there will be ongoing updates for the software to make the robot better to use.

Not good. Makes me sad. Have like four of their vacuums and also the air purifiers. This thing just stinks. I hope in the future someone figures this out.

Beautiful Vaccum but not a match for my goldens

Beautiful vacuum but not a match for three golden retrievers. It’s going to be returned. Battery life is barely there. Keeps stopping because the sensors get dirty and request to be clean, but it’s just hair. I had big expectations with this one but it’s not going to work for my pack.

So so

I'm hoping it will perform as well as my Roomba but haven't seen it yet. It stops after 15 minutes to go charge itself. Roomba lasts at least an hour.

Great machine.

Suction power is great. Aside from the brush I need to constantly remove human hair caught on the floor. Only if there is a brush same as the v11 cordless. Overall, can’t complain.

Spinning in circles!

My husband bought me the Dyson 360 mainly because he felt it would vacuum the corners under kitchen cabinets. I read the reviews prior to his purchase, and read mixed reviews. But he bought it anyway. To begin with, I grew an attachment to the 360, however, after setting the initial mapping feature and observing it vacuum, it spent more times doing circles and getting stuck than completing the vacuuming. It was frustrating to watch the machine as it would spend time spinning around and missing debris on the floor. Every time I set it to vacuum, I had to rescue it. There were many times where I couldn't find it. It went behind a sofa and got stuck. We had the 360 for 35 days and returned it.
