Description
Remove plaque and experience a deep, effective clean with Sonicare technology, removing up to 5-7x more plaque vs. a manual toothbrush. Sonicare technology gently pulses water between your teeth, for a month's worth of manual brushing in just 2 minutes. The QuadPacer lets you know when you've spent the optimal amount of time on each section of your mouth while the SmarTimer signals when your 2 minutes is up. The pressure sensor flashes red to remind you to ease off, helping to prevent gum recession, while the 2 intensity settings ensure a comfortable clean that’s right for you. Going electric might feel like a big step, but with this brush you’re in safe hands. Its slim ergonomic design and familiar-shaped head gives you everything you need for an effective clean. The kit includes 1 Philips Sonicare 4100 electric toothbrush, 1 Optimal Plaque Control (C2) brush head and 1 USB charging cable (wall adaptor not included).

No plug
It doesn't come with a plug. It just has a USB port. Philips- how many people do you think have bathrooms with USB ports?

SHORT BATTERY CHARGE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason I'm rating only 3 stars is because the charge only lasts a bit over a week. My old one lasted up to a month on a single chare. Why did we go backwards in quality is my question?!!!

Junk, don't buy it.
I've been a Sonicare user for going on 20 years. This was my 6th purchase. Never been disappointed before. This toothbrush charges on a USB charger. It has absolutel no cleaning power. Like a childs toy.

Weak
The spin action is so weak I have to manually brush my teeth instead of relying on this electric brush to do a decent job. After half a year of this, my dentist wasn't pleased with the results. I think I got better results from a cheap electric brush for 1/5th the price at another retailer (I just switched because that brush spinning would cut my mouth). And the replaceable brush heads you have to buy last about 1.5 months instead of three. This brand didn't use to be this bad. Compared to the older it's more light weight/skinnier & the kit doesn't include outlet plug for charging (just the cord).

Effective and Affordable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item because of a review that rated it as best in the “affordable”category. It may not have all possible bells and whistles of a more expensive one, but it has all I need and seems to clean very effectively. I recommend it highly.

This product is well worth the money you spend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Each time I brush, my teeth feel like I've just left the dentist after a cleaning. I love how easy it is to use and how it signals when it's time to change quadrants. I highly recommend this product!

Box gives wrong information about what is inside
I bought a 4100 and the box says it comes with a charger when actually it doesn't it comes with a charging cable. Confirmed on page 12 of the owners manual. Now I find that i have to buy a waa2001 from you to actually get it to charge. You need to change the packaging to be truthful.

Yessah
I upgraded my toothbrush game! After trying this, I ran to target to get one for my daughter. Why is this so special? It's lightweight. It has a bigger head than most and it vibrates really fast. Leaving your teeth super clean.

Great for about 6/9 months at best
Great toothbrush for 6 months then it will break down. Bought one thats been replaced twice since I bought it and now the latest replacements gone wrong too. Rubber on the on/off button seems to be made of tissue and after a while it gets stuck on.

Not good vibration
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a RDH and have always recommended the Sonicare but this model falls short! It does not have the power of the previous models.

Didnt last
I have been using Sonicares for over 10 years. This was the least expensive model I ever bought. Well after 1 1/2 years, it stopped charging and needs to be replaced. My old Sonicares lasted closer to 5 years. Disappointing I already have to replace this.

My wife and I have both used Sonicare toothbrushes for about 25 years. We bought two of these 4100 models, as we already have used them for years Our opinion is the new ones are worthless and don't deserve one star. The brushing action is minimal and can't be effective for healthy results.
