[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I reviewed the Allerease Platinum Zip-Off mattress protector through Influenster, and I am absolutely in love! It took literally about 2 or 3 mins to install, which is an amazing time frame to add this to your bed. The protector has a fully removable zip off top, which makes this not only extremely easy to cover or remove from the bed, but also makes it so easy to remove only the top cover to wash, instead of having to remove the entire protector. It's features are that it's waterproof (with spill and stain protection), an allergen protector (blocking 99.9% of allergens), is a bedbug barrier, has "Heiq Pure" Antimicrobial protection (which prevents odors by inhibiting the growth of bacteria on the product), it balances your body's temperature (so you are never too hot or too cold), and the top layer is made with a circular knit fabric which is extremely comfortable, and surprisingly so for a 100% polyester product. We slept on the actual protector itself for a night without a sheet covering, and I could not believe how comfortable it was. I almost didn't even want to cover it with a fitted sheet at all! That being said, I 100% highly recommend this product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to get on? I would say yes in comparing it to our traditional mattress pad we’ve been using. I have 3 kids, 3 of them are still in diapers. So mattress pads are a must in this house. It does its job. No liquid made its way onto the mattress and it’s able to be cleaned and wiped down easily. Doesn’t make noise when the kids move around either which I like.

It was easy to wrap it around the mattress and the zipper was easy to zip up. It’s made with a beautiful soft waterproof material. It is very comfortable and easy to wash. I especially like the fact that it blocks 99.9% allergens making it a perfect mattress cover. I highly recommend trying it for yourself. I will definitely consider ordering a larger size for my other beds.

The fit on my twin mattress was okay, but not as snug as I expected—it bunches slightly in places. The waterproofing does seem reliable, which is a big plus, and the zip-off top makes washing much more convenient. Durability feels decent so far, though I’ve only washed it a couple of times. In terms of comfort, it’s fine—not super soft, but not noisy or plasticky either. Breathability could be better; I did notice it sleeps a little warmer than I’d like. Overall, it’s functional and protective, but there’s room for improvement.

I was a little worried initially because I have a 2 inch memory foam mattress pad on my mattress for comfort and wasn’t sure if this was going to fit. Fortunately, it does without any excess tension. It was easy to apply. The whole thing unzips to encase your mattress and zips right up. The top is a soft, breathable fabric that is waterproof. It can be completely separated from the bottom plasticky portion. This makes it super convenient to wash. All you have to do is unzip is completely and remove just the top to wash. The bottom stays in place and when it’s washed, simply zip it back up. Super convenient. I also love that the fabric is comfortable as well. Usually waterproof equates to an uncomfortable plastic type feeling. Not the case here-it’s fairly plush and soft. You can definitely feel a plastic underneath, but the top layer is fabric, so much more comfortable. I love that’s it’s hypoallergenic as well so don’t need to worry about issues with sensitive skin. I’m very pleased with this mattress protector and have it on my twin bed in the guest room. That way I don’t need to worry about any unwanted accidents/stains on my mattress and can simply toss the mattress protector in the wash. Highly recommend.

It’s not as cushioned as my last one, so it’s not as comfortable, but it’s still good quality. I will say however that trying to zip this thing on with one person was quite difficult. It was a workout all on its own trying to get that done and I have a twin mattress. I highly recommend having another person (or two with larger mattresses) helping you!

It fit is perfect and not to snug around the corners of the bed.which makes it easy to remove for washing and it’s waterproofing material does not wrinkle or gather up in between the sewn seams. The material used is a very durable synthetic material that isn’t snagged to easily or ball up into pieces of gathered lint . The best part is that I have found it to have some form of stain resistant ability. It works best for the exact bed size but like myself I used it for my twin bed until my queen mattress was delivered today.
