Q: I bought th 30 roll case today and when I got home noticed the roll is smaller, the package at home has 264 sheets per roll while the case I bought today has 244. Has this procduct been ruduced?

submitted by Dissappointed Comsumer - 5 months ago
  • A: And the quality of the 244 sheet per roll toilet paper is FAR WORSE than the 264 sheet per roll. So bad that I will no longer buy this toilet paper.

    submitted byMichelle C - 2 months ago
  • A: Glad it wasn’t just me going nuts when I just discovered this. Really disappointing they have it under the same listing as before and just “30 rolls” in the description.

submitted bySerr - 2 months ago
  • A: Yes. Same thing. I set a new roll by a old roll for comparison

submitted bysmithsilver - 3 months ago
  • A: The rolls are nothing like they used to be. Shrinkflation has hit toilet paper again. Comparing old roll to new, it looks like a completely different product.

submitted byDisappointed - 3 months ago
  • A: Yes definitely reduced amount per roll. They are not the mega rolls they used to be. And my family dosen't think they are the same quality either. This used to be my Charmin replacement as it is cheaper and the quality used to be right on par with Charmin. Now I gotta find a new toilet paper.

submitted byStacy - 21 days ago
  • A: This is the last time I buy this product. Rip off. Back to using charmin!

    submitted bycapecod1977 - 15 days ago
  • A: Yes I placed a roll bought previously to this "new" roll and it's a signifigant difference. Smaller. I see in their listing they claim "new lower price" and no where do they admit smaller product.Bad

    submitted bysebandmia4ever - 1 month ago
  • A: Yes, I compared the rolls I bought from March 2025 vs yesterday. They are making them a lot smaller now!

Q: Is the plastic packaging recyclable? It doesn't have a number on it or any information about recyclability.

submitted by Proud flip phone user - 1 year ago
  • A: The next text time ! Z

submitted byY - 9 months ago
  • A: Not recyclable in most municipal recycling, but services like Ridwell will take it.

submitted byMidwesty - 9 months ago
  • A: Most "film" plastic is non recyclable via normal recycling pickup. Some stores do have plastic bag recycle collection bins out front, but investigative reporting showed a percent of them ended up dumped in 3rd world countries, clogging local water ways

I’ve never left a review on Target, but this TP sucks so bad, I feel the need to! I thought maybe I got a pack that was part of a bad batch because the two-ply layer was uneven and completely coming apart. Gave it another try and bought another pack a few weeks later and same result. Save yourself disappointment and don’t waste your money on this. I promise you I will NEVER be buying this TP again. Definitely spending a few extra dollars and getting the name brand next time I go.

This used to be my go to TP, to the point that I went out of my way to buy it at Target. Now it’s flimsy, rough and the two ply splits. You know, the mark of a cheap roll. I’m really bummed that I need to find a new brand.

Had same pkgs of the up &up toilet paper in the 18 roll pkg from a previous order The previous order rolls were so much bigger than these The new rolls are at least inch smaller than the others. They all say 244 sheets per roll. Something is for sure wrong about these last 2 pkgs i received the paper feels thinner and rolls are not good quality

I had one roll left of the last variation of this toilet paper which we loved for years and was actually a good value. Comparing the new roll to the old roll, it’s considerably smaller, thinner, rougher, and has a different pattern. I honestly thought I got a bad batch that wrapped the wrong toilet paper in the Ultra Strong packaging until I read recent reviews. There’s nothing Ultra Strong about this and to keep the price the same for a product way smaller AND lesser quality is honestly shameful. Will not be repurchasing.

I’ve been buying this toilet paper for years and liked how soft and strong it was with no rips. They recently changed the paper to be thin and rough like tp you would find in a public restroom. I have some older rolls I compared to the new ones and there is a clear difference. The paper also rips off the roll badly when you start a new roll and the two plys are separated then. I will be switching brands with the new change.

    My Rating Downgraded...

Thrifty Me - 10 days ago, Verified purchaser
My Rating Downgraded... Due to a DECREASE in QUALITY and QUANTITY of Target's Up&Up Ultra Strong (as well as the Soft and Strong) toilet paper, my PREVIOUS 5-Star Rating has been DOWNGRADED to a 2-Star Rating. Actually, I'd give 1-Star for the Soft and Strong because it is now super thin, falls apart like confetti, and is no longer a thick, strong, or soft toilet paper and the Ultra Strong isn't as soft as it once was. Up and Up used to be equal to the name brand toilet paper so much so that I had wondered if it wasn't the exact same name brand BUT with a private Up and Up label for Target. For 30+ years, up until the toilet paper shortage during the pandemic, I ALWAYS bought the same premium brand of toilet paper (the brand with a girl's name) and paid a premium price for its premium quality. During the pandemic I bought Target's Up & Up brand (18 = 72 Rolls pack) and was very pleasantly surprised to discover the quality was as good as my regular brand and maybe even better when you consider it cost $14.97 for 18 HUGE rolls. I had never considered changing brands until then but not only "WAS" it VERY GOOD toilet paper but the price was really great in comparison to the name brand and the large packs were convenient so I continued to buy the 18-Roll pack. UNFORTUNATELY... at some point the "18=72 Rolls" pack was replaced with re "18=244 Sheets per Roll" which are NO LONGER MEGA ROLLS! I have a toilet paper canister and when I was getting the mega rolls, I had to remove some of the toilet paper to get it to fit in the canister. That was the first clue that it had changed and then I noticed the quality. Not only did the size of the roll shrink, but the quality shrunk as well. I have used BOTH the Ultra Strong and the Soft & Strong and used to like them both before the change is were made. Both used to be really good but not anymore. The quality has gone South and shrinkflation is abundantly clear so it's time to switch to a premium quality toilet paper again because Up&Up has failed miserably in quality over the past year or so. Downgrade 5-Stars to 2-Stars

I have bought this brand of toilet paper for years and it has been great. The package I just bought is not the same product I purchased two months ago. I had a roll left from the old package to compare. The old one was larger, softer and stronger. The new version is thin, rough, and rips easily. Definitely not “ultra strong.“ Additionally, the cardboard cores are raggedy and bent, and I don’t appreciate the excess packaging. For some reason, the rolls are packaged in sets of four within the outer plastic package. Will not be purchasing again.
