I like everything about Dove Cucumber & Green Tea soap. The scent is fresh, it doesn't irritate my skin or feel waxy. it lathers up nicely and I feel clean after a shower. I live in an area with hard and heavily chlorinated water. My showerhead filter and Dove soap, helps my skin feel wonderful.

I was the Corporate Soaps Development Manager for Unilever India (then called Hindustan Lever Ltd) in 1970-1972. I had the final say, in agreement with Sales & Marketing in selecting all aspects of the soaps, including perfumes. I am proud for a top selling premium soap Lux Supreme we developed & sold, including the best perfume of all soaps of the company in India. Honestly, my best choice was imported Australian Lux soap sold in Bandra, India. Its perfume was so so good. Dove has dominated the market now with its aggressive advertising, particularly through dermatologists who strongly recoomend it for it being mild & moisturizing. I have in the last 5 years bought & used most of the varieties. I liked Men's+ Care, being least over powering smell. I hate to say it, none of the Dove soaps have good perfume (scent). This one was absolutely repugnant, I got headache & felt like vomitting. I bought 8 pack; barely completed one shower. I would ask Unilever R&D VP and Sales & Marketing VPs in UK & USA to go back to square one to select perfumes for all of their bar soaps. Lever 2000 smells awful too. Many have over powering, bad smells (perfumes/scents). If I was involved now in selecting perfumes for bar soaps, or for that matter any product, I would seriously consider natural essential oils. My favorites are eucalyptus, spruce, wintergreen, lavender. I have now switched over to Yardley Lavender bar soap & am very happy with it.

Very calming scent lots of lather. Skin is moisturized and soft. I will recommend a friend.

I used to love this soap and was excited to buy again. It’s disgusting. Smells like chemical fragrance. Overpowering. Had to wrap it in a plastic bag before throwing it away it was so bad. So disappointed. Will be returning.

Smells moldy I was very disappointed I couldn’t return to get my normal fragrance. Dove caress .

I have been buying this soap for 10 plus years. I purchased 6 bars last week and it does not smell the same. Did the ingredients/formula change? I will be returning it to the store.

Even though Dove's Cool Moisture Beauty Bar with Cucumber and Green Tea Scent is called a "beauty bar", everyone in my family including my husband and son use this great scented soap daily when we shower. We love the scent of Cucumbers and Green Tea, plus it leaves our skin moisturized year round. This creamy, moisturizing soap is the best we have ever used. It leaves our skin feeling clean and doesn't dry it out. Please never discontinue using our favorite bath soap!!!

After my most recent purchase of Dove Cool Moisture bar soap, I came to the internet to see what the heck happened. It smells terrible! I stock up on bar soap, so I have some left from my previous purchase and the two are nothing alike, and it's not just that one is fresher than the other. The new stuff smells TOXIC. I also believe the soap is causing a rash. What a bummer since I've been using this product for more than ten years.
