The Vodka Sauce is TERRIBLE!
Just tried this sauce and it was terrible. It had a sour taste (not like acidic tomatoes, more like citric acid) and the smell was so funky I had to check the expiration date. I probably shouldn't have, but I went ahead and ate some. Just awful! I threw the rest away. I have had Bertolli sauces before and they were good, just not the Vodka Sauce.

I love this sauce
I have used for years. In reading the tiny minority who have given it a 1*, in my opinion, they have completely missed the point. This is a sublte, understated sauce. I have noticed over the years, other manufactors have changed their color from this vodka color to a tomoto color. I have tried them -just another tomoto sause. I enjoy and appreciate this different approach. Thank you

Do not buy!!!!
I poured this all over my pasta and stirred it all up only to then catch whiff of a terrible smell. My sense of smell isn’t that good anymore but I could smell how wretched this was. I asked my husband to smell it since my smeller is off sometimes and he said it smelled ok so I sat down to eat some but it tasted as bad as it smelled. My daughters then smelled it and agreed it smelled rotten and disgusting. I ended up throwing it all away but ate some of it so I’m hoping I don’t get food poisoning like some of the other reviewers did. I can still taste it in my mouth. I’ve had vodka sauce in restaurants and other brands but this was the absolute worst.

This sauce USED to be good a year or two ago. They changed something and now it’s disgusting. The other reviews saying it tastes like garbage and that it gave them food poisoning is right. My husband had diarrhea in the middle of the night after eating. DO NOT BUY!

Very disgusting
These reviews have got to be lies. I literally just cooked this with some meatballs and at first the sauce smelled so bad then I warmed it up in the pot and gave it a taste. I had to throw the entire pan away. This actually taste like garbage I am so surprised. I have never had a vodka sauce taste this bad in my life.

Bitter Nasty Vodka Sauce
I am so disappointed in this vodka sauce…since other sauces made by Bertolli are pretty good. It was bitter and had a nasty smell….and tasted awful! I actually checked the best by date thinking it was past the date….but no it wasn’t. It was just awful and had to throw away pasta and sauce and order a pizza!
