Not max holding at all
As a hair dresser of 27 years I have used a tremendous amounts of hair say and tried just about every band out there. I need a max holding hairspray and needed it fast. Went to the nearest store and found Suave Max Hold hairspray. Honestly this is probably one of the worst aerosol hairsprays I have ever used. It made the hair wet so most the curl came out before I could complete the style. On top of that the hold is absolutely atrocious! I don't know who decided what classifies as max hold but this is definitely not one of them!!! Max hold should mean the hair does not move at all, but not this one! Apparently max hold to the people at suave means hair won't hold curl after you apply it cause the hair is wet due to product not evaporating fast. And hair is still flexible. Which is far from anything I have known to be labled as max hold hair spray. Super disappointing!!!!

Decent Affordable Spray
Good affordable hairspray. It truly depends on your application. You need to wave your arm around very fast because if not and if it concentrates too much on one spot you will get crunchy hair. Washes out fairly easy. Strong fragrance. You cannot brush or comb through after application. I suggest you tease hair beforehand for volume. Made my hair frizzy on warm or humid days. Did not weight down my fine hair.

MAX hold.
The hairspray does give you a MAX hold and is the best that I have found yet. The only negative for this product would be the smell. It lingers and gives me a very bad headache for some reason.

Hold that never quits, without the crunch
Suave Max Hold Hairspray has become my absolute go to because its performance is consistently effective without causing dryness or dullness. I love this hairspray so much that I always keep 2–3 cans on hand in case I run out. Priced perfect and the scent is pleasantly attractive without overtly strong and the spray feels light while still giving great hold. It’s never sticky, never stiff, and keeps my hair manageable all day. The nozzle gives a good spray and never gets stuck or clogs. Even better, it doesn’t leave that hard to comb out residue that so many other sprays do. This is the one I trust every single time. Pretty colorful can in the bright magenta making it fun to keep on vanity.

Love this product! Ultimate hold and keeps my hair volumized and shiny!! My scalp is rarely flaky after using this and it doesn’t give that sticky/hard as a rock look while looking. It’s super lightweight. It says unscented but I feel like it doesn’t have a small scent. It’s pleasant to me

Any time I use this hairspray it doesn’t hold, if you touch your hair or even if a strong breeze hits your hair it will move and your curls will fall. I usually use hairspray to hold my curls and slick down my flyaway edges, but this hairspray fails time and time again. It will leave you with a nice shiny finish, no hold though.

Budget friendly but works
This hairspray is not expensive. I have straight but frizzy hair and it works perfectly to help with with my fly away hairs. It is scent free and doesn’t feel to heavy. It leaves a nice shine on your hair as well. It’s easily washed out of my hair on hair wash day and doesn’t leave build up on my hair. For the price it’s worth it if you are looking for a reliable hairspray on a budget.
