The clarity is worse with the new bags with the red L logo. What happened? Yeah I see it steeps faster, but did you add more instant tea? The smoothness is gone and the crisp refreshing light almost citrus bite isn’t there. Something changed with cold brew tea bags. Now they are more like when you brew tea with hot water and the temperature gets too high. Using the same amount of tea bags and steeping for the same amount of time the outcome is wildly different. It’s not that I don’t like change, I use Red Rose, Luzianne, Tetley, Twinngs. Lipton is my favorite, Iced Tea is all I drink, I make it very light with distilled water, I drink over a gallon a day, because quite literally it’s alllll I drink. I’ll go back to the family style ones, instead of the cold brew bags. I’m not sure what happened but it went from a delicate whiskey to a dark stout. You ruined a legendary tea that you had perfected to be used in cold water. I could make it anywhere. I use 3 bags in a little less than a gallon using the Rubbermaid pitcher with the red top and 3/4 cup of sugar. It’s always something, one battle after another, great job guys. I have consumed about a gallon a day since you came out with the cold brew bags. Oh well. I just go old school I guess

This used to come in a larger rectangular box of 24 tea bags. Now it is a square package of 24 bags with less tea in each bag. Before a box made 88 servings. Now a box makes 66 servings. Same price! I watch for this nasty trick. Be honest, keep the size, raise the price!

Not as good as fresh brewed but a decent substitute when you are short on time or without access to a kettle.

Love the Lipton cold brew

I grew up on instant tea. Yes, many people think it's gross or an abomination, don't care. I don't want to brew a whole thing of tea, wait for it to cool, etc so I thought I'd give these a try. It doesn't even really taste like tea. "Tea-like" would be more appropriate. After this box, I guess I'm switching to water or the occasional boil/cool method. Lipton, just bring back the instant tea.

I followed the instructions exactly with batch #1 resulting in slightly brown water without taste. Batch #2 steeped 10 minutes resulted in a VERY weak tea. Batch #3 for same amount of water did 4 bags and 10 minutes to get a slightly more brown slightly stronger tea. Not really sure how much longer I'm going to try to play with this. I guess until the bags run out since it's already opened. Won't be trying this again. Other cold brew tea recipes online talk about hours of cold steeping so I even checked online here to make sure the instructions on my box weren't a misprint.

Part of the problem is the wrong information for brewing now as one lady said its weak. Its 2 family size teabags to a QUART OF WATER and 4 family size teabags to a GALLON OF WATER. My box says 8 cups of water 1QT over 2 teabags so Im not sure were this wrong information is coming from. And brewing time is 5 minutes on package not 3. I leave my bags in overnight and take out in am for a stronger tea. Love this product so please dont change anything.

Used to be 100% tea (as shown here), but now it's tea plus tea extract and it tastes lousy as you would expect Why not say "new formula"?... Oh, that's right, it would harm sales... No worries, your little trick backfired and now you will get ZERO sales from me and anyone I hope reading this review. If I wanted instant tea I'd buy it! Well, another brand getting too cute and losing a customer/s. Way to go turning off 40+ yr customers to save a few pennies in production cost, maximizing C suite over-paid 'executives'. Pathetic.

Love love this. No boiling don't have to wait too long. Just get a gallon of bottled water put two bags in and within an hour or so you got AWESOME tea.

I make pitchers regularly all summer. I add two regular, flavored tea bags along with Lipton's. So refreshing!
