    CardBoard Cereal

This cereal tastes like cardboard! What the heck happened? It’s like they shredded a bunch of Amazon boxes and recycled them into Grapenuts. This was once one of my fav cereals. Did they change the recipe? Does not taste like it did when I was a kid! Won’t be buying that ever again! Wow. 🤯

As a kid I hated this cereal, but my dad loved it. Now I’m 54 and I’m addicted. I love the crunch! Yes, after awhile it will turn mushy. But this cereal is really good and healthy.

I loved eating grape nuts cereal when I was younger in the 70s. Unfortunately today like many other cereals, grape nuts contains glyphosphate which is a known carcinogen. I really wish these cereal companies would clean up their act and remove all toxic dyes, flavorings and herbicides to make a healthier product.

Me and my family recently purchased grape nuts and love them.As a childhood cereal I wanted my kid to try the grape nuts. She said they tasted like crumbled up burnt crackers. I said I agree but in a delicious way. I remember 82 years ago I was ten eating grape nuts just like her now by the hand full. I now use them as pothole fillers after storms they work quite well.

I love the cereal to eat either in the morning or after my workout (run) at night. The only downside is that it is crunchy and my wife claims it’s super loud to hear me eat it.

I'm now 61 mom used to swear by grape nuts growing up. I'm on a low cal high protein diet and my Greek yogurt just wasn't cutting it. I add 2 tablespoons to my yogurt with some fresh berries and get a filling healthy snack or meal. Same great taste as I remember. Back in the 70s there was a recipe on the side of the box that mom would make. Called breakfast cookies. It has grape nuts, oj , bacon, and a few other ingredients. Wonderfully tasting cookies for breakfast on the go. I hope it can be found and posted once again.

My husband loves it for breakfast every morning with yogurt and fresh fruit. I'm not big on breakfast, but I enjoy a small bowl occasionally myself as a snack with just enough fat free half and half to moisten it slightly. Love the crunch and natural flavor, not sugar drenched as so many breakfast cereals are. Highly recommend.

Have you ever felt the deep frustration and crushing loss of wanting that very particular food that just doesn't exist anymore, and being presented with the "perfectly fine" alternative that you know for certain is NOT a perfectly fine substitute? It is not the same, it doesn't scratch the itch. It's like a kid begging for fast food and being served a bologna sandwich. The people want grape nut ohs. The people need it. And we will throw a temper tantrum over the bologna sandwich of an alternative cereal until we get our grape nut ohs back!

I've been enjoying GRAPE-NUTS for nearly 50 years. Just like my Mother did, I too like soaking my GRAPE-NUTS in a bowl of milk w/a little sugar for at least 1/2 hr in fridge. My question is: How does anyone not know that GN is a hard crunchy cereal; it's in smaller packaging? I also soak my Granola cereals due to the hardness also Cap't Crunch brand cereals. GRAPE-NUTS are GREAT-NUTS!!

When I was a kid sometimes my dad would make us grape nuts as a late night snack with milk and little sprinkle of sugar, warmed in the microware. So it brings back wonderful memories. But now as an adult, I love it because it adds yummy crunch to my morning greek yogurt (I also add a little chopped walnuts). It is so much healthier than granola with way less sugar. And it is yummier than Fiber One, which I used to use. I just realized it also has so much iron/ folic acid!! I wish I realized this when I was pregnant. This cereal is a powerhouse and is SO under appreciated!!

I then add fresh fruit maybe berries, sliced peaches or melon. Even toss in some sunflower seeds or other seeds Tastes delicious! I like to eat Grape Nuts this way as a light lunch at work. Energizing lunch.
