Smelled so bad

Quality product
These are the highest quality black eyed peas in a can that I’ve eaten. I prefer the ones with snaps, but haven’t seen those in years. Each year, I order 20 cans from Target because the price is right. I save most for myself, but give some to friends who eat them on New Year’s Day.

Dented beyond use
I was so looking forward to stock piling the Black-Eyed Peas during the COVID-19 isolation. I can't grade the taste or value or quality really because I am not able to taste them.
The four cans we ordered were shipped in a separate box. Of the four, only 1 survived. The rest were so bent, it was almost like they had been drop kicked or played football with or something the dents were so intense, and the shipping box was fine. So not sure what happened or why such cans were even shipped. One out of four. Then I looked at the expiration dates. Two of the four would have been fine. And one was the good can. Come on Target, you can do better, can't you?
