    Dove Extra Hold #4 Hairspray

    So very disappointed in the new formula! I bought the extra hold #5 a couple months ago and was so excited to finally find a hair spray that worked & smelled great! Then I ran out & went to buy more, only to get home & discover it wasn’t the same anymore! I hate the new smell & the feel of it in my hair. The store gave me my money back.

    I see no gloss or Shine what so ever but just for the non aresol hair spray its good, smells ok holds ok..but I get no extra shine which is the reason I bought it..

    Extra Hold 5 Hairspray

    I am so disappointed in this new extra hold hairspray. I have used extra hold 5 for years and now it seems the formulas has changed. I don’t even know if extra hold 5 is still being made. Has it been replaced with extra hold 4? If so, 4 does not hold my hair, it weights my hair down, and it leaves my hair crunchy. Please bring back the old formula extra hold 5 hairspray.

    Do not like the new formula

    I loved Dove hairspray until evidently the formula changed recently. It now sprays out like foam at times and it is leaving a heavy residue build-up that I never had until the change.

    New formula is awful. It leaves my hair sticky and crunchy. I didn't realize very subtle change on the bottle and now I'm stuck with 6 bottles of crap that I can't seem to get a refund on!!!!! How very sneaky...shifty shady. Why do you have to change what works. I will be changing brands. No more dove for me.

    This is a game changer

    Miss the old formula

    I have used the Dove level 5 control and shine hairspray every day for as long as I can remember. This week when buying a refill, I noticed the can design was different. Sometimes this can be a bad sign, but I hoped it wouldn't mean the formula was changed. Spoiler alert: it was. The spray was way wetter than usual and left little white droplets/beads of product on my hair strands. I'm extremely annoyed and disappointed with the change and am now considering trying different brands that will live up to the original formula.

    Unwanted BAG FEE added to my cost!!

    Target added a bag fee of $1.00. I specifically did NOT order a bag for these 2 small items, so want your bag fee REFUNDED immediately. Target already raised the price of this item by $1.00 since the last time I ordered it. Target's unwanted bag fee only added to this inflated cost! Please remove that fee now.
