Don’t know what they changed, but it’s terrible
I have been using this powder for years, with the same routine, now it leaves my makeup so patchy and unset. After a few hours my makeup looks terrible.

New formula is a flop
Nope. This is "not it". At least, not anymore... :( Why change an old classic? If you must, then have the decency to discontinue it and create a new line, instead of gaslighting us all by changing the formula but keeping the packaging the same. New formula is too "pearly". Same Classic Ivory shade I've used for decades is now more pale and bright. The formula cakes up on the applicator puff, and doesn't control oil like before. And I look all flaky! Sad.

Incompetence
This came to me in complete crumbles. It wasn't individually secured but put in the bottom of a box. I'm extremely disappointed! Called for refund only to get a man who spoke broken English that I could half understand. He told me I had to return it tonthe store to get a refund. Told him I can't drive due to having eye problems & said Never in the past when I had a damaged item had to return it to the store. He changed his tune & begrudgingly gave me a refund. Why Target do you hire such incompetence?

I used this powder for almost 20 years and the new formula is awful. It makes me look like a shimmery ghost. I am so disappointed in the change.

Horrible new formula
Cover girl please take note of all these angry comments for changing the formula that has worked perfectly for so long. We are buying MATTE powder- so why did you think making it shiny would be a good idea? If we wanted shiny we would have not been buying matte powder. I look like a shiny ghost with huge pores- I can’t emphasize enough how much I hate the new formula. Please bring back the old powder!

Not good!
I’ve been using this product for ever! I’m 40 years old and have oily skin. The new formula creases so bad and just sits on my skin. Looks awful. Really disappointed that I have to find another powder.

Changed Formula; Horrible
I have been using this for 20 years. For a girl who struggles with oily skin, this was always my go to and trusted product to keep my skin matte without being cakey. With the recent formula change, my usual color makes my skin look chalky and pale, and more importantly I’m ridiculously oily after 30 minutes of it being on. I am so terribly sad that I no longer have a go to product.

What has happened???
I have been using this powder for 20 years. Flawless. Holy grail of pressed powders. I bought 2 the other week and i figured it was a bad batch, so I purchased another. I work in a kitchen and by the end of the day my face was a shiny mess. The old formula would leave my skin beautiful from the beginning of the day to end. This is horrible . Please please Covergirl change back to old formula!. Otherwise going to have to find a new brand.

Will not buy again. Formula changed - now crap
I am HEART BROKEN. I wear full coverage makeup. It’s the only powder I found ever worked for maintaining a matte finish. 12 years using this product. Over the last month I have discovered it to now be shiny (almost penalized on my skin and significantly different shades than what I have been using. It’s clumping awfully and looks terrible. I have since learned that it’s a new formula. It would have been nice if that was advertised on the packaging as I literally have over 20 of them in a discard pile tha I at first thought maybe I bought expired ones. I’ll have to change up my products I guess after 13 years. Shame on you covergirl for not labeling your product changes. Such a waste of money

NO LONGER THE SAME CLEAN MATTE POWDER
I have used clean matte pressed powder for years and now I am soooo disappointed with the formula change. It took me about 2 weeks to finally realize it was the powder making my face shine more and my pores more noticeable. So much for being a matte finish and looking flawless with my pores screaming can you see me, can you see me. Why change something when it's not broken, now it's broken. Unfortunately, I will have to go through the process of finding another matte powder that works. Please bring back the older product!!!!!

New Formula Disappointing
I have been using this powder for almost 30 years - flawless and loved it - it was a five star. Recently I learned that they changed the formula. I thought it was a bad batch - but no - it is the new one. The powder is horrible, doesn't work like a face powder, and is a waste of money. I will need to look for a new brand of powder. I am not sure how this passed testing when you reformulated it, but this is absolutely disappointing. I bought three on sale and now I have three powders I cannot use. Please bring the old formula back!

New Formula is Terrible!
I have used this product for 20 years, and I am so disappointed in the change in formula. The new product is so shiny, does NOT control oil (in fact, it makes my skin 10x more oily), highlights every fine line and wrinkle, and easily ages my face 10 years. I will be looking for a different brand outside of Cover Girl. It used to match my skin tone, keep oil under control, and cover blemishes, and now it does none of that. Could not be more disappointed in the product now!

Shade is not the same
I bought shade 535- Medium Light over a month ago and it is not the same. I have the previous one I bought, and they are not the same shade. The recent one is a lot darker than the prior one. Even though they are "the same shade" which they are not. Not sure if you changed the formula but please bring back the original shade, I bought the 3 shades below it but in the Clean Invisible and they are all too light.

I have been using the pressed powder for years. The formula must have changed. It does not go on as smooth and is far too shiny. It seems to have some sort of glittery highlighter in it. Please bring back the old formula.

Horrible change in product
I’ve been using this powder for decades and is my absolute favorite. But you changed it and it’s horrible!!!! I thought I had a few bad buys but nope all the new ones are the same and horrible. Covergirl keeps changing all their products , labeling them the same and not in a good way ; I’m going to have to find a new makeup brand. Please bring back the old formula!!!!!
