Love it so much! 2 bags lasted awhile, buying more because it’s great. Great odor control and no dust and very very little tracking (1-3 pellets on the floor every now and then)

Feline Fine
I usually buy my pellets at a ranch store. But sometimes I don't feel like going. Feline Pine is fine, but the quality isn't as good as the ranch store. I switched out my litter boxes ten days ago and it's almost all dissolved. That doesn't happen with the other brands I get. Also at the ranch store you can get 40lbs for under 10 dollars.

I wish it worked
I loved the price compared to regular cat litter and I liked the concept of it not tracking dust and the absorbency but my cat refuses to use it and if your cat is picky with litter, they might too 🥲 my cat has never peed outside of his litter box and he stopped using it when we introduced this to him. I did hear you have to slowly introduce them to it but even after mixing it with some of his old litter, he was very skeptical and still didn’t approve. I would just caution to introduce it very slowly for your cat and hope yall have better luck than we did

Pellets don't stink
I used feline pine in the past and switched when I could no longer afford or keep up with it. I recently tried it again. I'm very sensitive to scents plus I also loathe the smell of pine so it wasn't so good for me; however, the scent of the product has improved, it is no longer overwhelming as it once was, and the pine scent was really only when the pellets/ dust was disturbed. In between, I had been using clumping litters exclusively so the transition to the pellets wasn't an easy one. I don't seem to get how much to put into the box at first since it pretty much doubles in size when broken down to sawdust. Not so sure the kitties are a fan of the pellets tho they use it fine. Once the pellet start to break down, they seem more comfortable. In general, though, litters that need to be stirred don't work well with multiple cats. . .especially when my four rescues don't seem to stir up but rather poorly cover their urine. I also am not sure about scooping. . .I like to remove the poo except you get all the pellets too, which is wasteful and annoying. The sifting boxes I had don't allow the sawdust to pass since the holes are too small, so I am going to try a trick from the internet. I go back and forth with how to manage the boxes now (I have four right now and it is A LOT), then end up dumping it all because of the sifting/pellets issues when I can smell pee. As far as odor control, it works. Now, it does smell once the cat poos then it will dissipate just like when a person uses the rest room. After that, it generally covers the smell tho it might require some stirring if you're sensitive like me. Other than the passing smell, which is unfortunately a doozy with my four rescues, it does fairly well at odor control. . .until it doesn't, and then I change it. The litter is HEAVY. I struggle to get the bags, to fill the boxes and to empty them especially since I have disabling injuries plus I am gettin old. I am not aware of a litter that is light for which you don't pay at least 5x as much four and I can't afford that with my lot. So I wish it were lighter, yet I can manage the fill with it easier than with a box of clumping litter. I like how the litter breaks down, just am not sure how to manage it yet. That said, the only area I see the litter tracked is immediately around the boxes. . .not sure they are good at wiping their feet at all! With clumping litter, we had to clean their feet often and would find litter and or grey/white prints everywhere. . .I switched back since the clumping litter on everything is just disgusting and impossible to keep up with cleaning. I don't find pine shavings anywhere but where the boxes are or I happen to spill it so it is good for less tracking. Overall I like the feline pine in comparison to other litter types. I am not a fan of visible poop which is more an issue with pine than other litter types. I like only passing odors unless it needs to be changed and I love less tracking. If it were lighter, it'd be great. . .as a lightweight clumping litter it would be amazing but only if it was still somewhat affordable as this is already a premium product. Not The Best Cat Litter Ever!!!!!
Not the very best litter ever, my two cats didn't like at all. They would use the litter box just to go pee but, wouldn't poop in the litter box. This went on for a week right after I had bought the pine litter on Sunday September 18, 2025. They weren't that happy about it so, with this being said in my humble opinion, don't go switching from regular clumping scoopable cat litter it would make your cats very unhappy.
