Mixed bag, or basket
I received this gift basket when we had our first child, and I have input on the various things that come in the basket. The baby wash and regular baby lotion were satisfactory. They worked great, no notes. The thick lotion, I found to not be very moisturizing for my baby or me. Would not recommend. The body wash for myself ( the mama ) I absolutely loved. The smell was great and relaxing.

We received this as a baby shower gift and it took a very long time to get used up. I prefer unscented things, but the lavender was nice and didn’t irritate his skin. Great for nighttime baths and relaxing.

Effectiveness, lather really well
This was one of the best lotions I used for my kids growing up. I highly recommend using it if your kids get dry easily after a bath! It lathers well and doesn't have a sticky feeling left on skin after using it like some lotions do.

Love the bonus product for mommy!

However, I have never tried out their adult body wash before this. It was nice bonus to have this for myself included with the baby products I use for my kids. I have been reaching for this in the shower over my current body wash that is over twice the price as this.

Scent is calm and more of a natural scent rather than heavy and harsh ones like other brands. Both of my kids feel so relaxed in and after their bath! Leaves their skin super smooth with no signs of irritation even if you have a sensitive child. Great item to have or to gift. Highly recommend!

A great gift for anyone expecting, I was gifted this for my baby shower and used it quite a bit when my daughter was younger. Unfortunately we did have to switch after about a month because she started to break out after using any aveeno products.
