A: These wipes ruined my lenses. I just paid $250. for new lenses because the lenses had become foggy. I was told it's not the formula but the actual paper/cloth wipe that does the damage.

I have been using these wipes for upwards of eight years and with the new rebranding and repackaging the wipes are extremely wet and never dry and actually make your glasses worse so stay away from the dark purple box for now

Bad news
The good people of Target reviews have already figured this out - this new revamped product is garbage. It leaves streaks that make lenses less visible than before “cleaning” them with this product. I was so concerned when the previous iteration of this product disappeared for many months as it was always a go to. I was relieved to see them brought back with this new purple packaging - until I tried them. Bad news and absolutely useless for their intended purpose.

If they brought the old formula back, this review would be 1234/5, but as it currently stands, they don’t even deserve 1 star 😭 They are a streaky hot mess express and the paper is scratchy and rough I’ve bought several different boxes just to make sure I’ve been purchasing these since 2017-ish and I haven’t had issues with them until recently when they changed the formula to the newest one I genuinely used to rave about these to everyone I met but obviously that isn’t the case anymore Please fix and bring back the formula that works!! :(

Horrible reformula of lens wipes
Target has completely changed the ingredients of these wipes when they changed the color of the package from white to purple. They don't dry quickly, and leave a horrible hazy streak on eyeglasses. I am so disappointed.

New formula is awful
These used to be very good until the recent formula change. The new formula is way too wet, if you use it right after you open it then it leaves streaks and smudges all over and makes it so you can't see out of your glasses. If you wait a bit for it to dry out before using it, then it just does nothing. You'd be better off using your shirt. I never leave reviews on products but you guys need to fix this. These wipes used to be my favorite but now I will have to find other ones.

I love these they work really well and they don’t dry out. I have to say they’re probably the best men’s wipes I’ve ever used. They do kinda have a strong alcohol smell, but they honestly work really well. Scratched My Lenses So Badly No Longer Can Wear My Favorite Glasses
Description clearly states these wipes are a non-scratching option. I paid good money and added a scratch resistent protective coat on my lenses. I always rinse my glasses first with water to clean off any grit before using eye glass cleaning wipes. This was the first time I purchased this brand. It literally destroyed both my lenses. Luckily, I had a backup pair of glasses I could use because my favorite pair were no longer usable. See pictures. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.

These leave a smeared look and film on the glasses. I end up needing to pull out my spray and cleaning cloth to get them clear again. No longer a good product
These used to be incredible. Now, they are awful! You might as well use a soaking wet paper towel on your lenses. I used to buy a box or two of them every month (and sometimes even for others, too!) and I loved them. They were tremendous quality, fast drying, streak free, odor free. Now they are pointless. I won’t be buying them again.
