Covergirl Clean Matte has deteriorated badly
This product has changed. It used to be wonderful and I used it for years. Number 510 classic ivory gave my skin such a glow and was a perfect color match...The last couple of compacts have been horrible. The color and the coverage are NOT the same. Worst of all, I am left with a horrible glittery finish on my face! What have you done?

Powder is unusable after its reformulation. It was my stand-by.
Terrible reformulation of a standard product. I used the normal skin compacts (brown) for decades, then they reformulated that powder, making it cakey and unusable. So I switched to the Matte (blue) compacts, which was fine until the past couple of months, but now Covergirl has ruined this old stand-by product as well. It has a weird, unnatural irridescent shine to it, so No, it isn't matte at all anymore. It cakes up over any moisture or cream on skin. It cannot be reapplied over itself withour causing cakey streaks. You have to wash your face to get it off, then start all over. There is no way to achieve a matte, smooth look with this horrible new powder. Why Covergirl? Why are you ruining all the products your loyal customers love?

New Formula?? AWFUL! ZERO stars.
I've been using this product for YEARS and whatever they did to the formula earlier this year is DIABOLICAL. So thick and cakey and leaves you greasy looking and sits in your pores and gets streaky not to mention the now TOXIC plastic smell coming from it (and no, not the noxema smelling one the light blue "clean" packaging) several friends noticed too and we will now be switching brands. don't waste your time or money on this stuff anymore!
