great quality! it is a very shallow dish. I will use for ice cubesand water outside in the heat instead of an actual water bowl like I planned. has a rubber bottom, so it won't move across the floor or ground.

Just the perfect size and I like that it has a rubberized bottom which makes the dish nonslip.

Solid construction, heavy, rubber bottom won't slide on floor/mat.

Great bowls for a cats, highly trained

Perfect shallow dish with anti-slip bottom. Works for water or food just fine and is easy to clean. Cat finds it very easy to eat from.

These used to be great. I initially purchased 2 of them in early 2025 and we liked them so much that we bought 6 more at the end of 2025. The first 2 were nice and sturdy and the stainless steel didn’t stain easily. The next 6 were a lighter weight and they stain very easily. Upon comparing the first 2 with the next 6, I discovered that the first pair came from China and the next half dozen came from India. Boots and Barley decided to find a cheaper way to manufacture these while still selling them to us for the same rates. I won’t be purchasing any further Boots and Barley items, as I prefer to spend more on quality. If I wanted cheap, I’d go to the famous blue retailer from Arkansas.

Perfect bowls for my cats. They’re shallow and wide so they don’t get whisker fatigue. I got two for now and they both seem to like them! I will be purchasing more in the future.

We purchased these bowls for our small dog who needed a spare set of food and water dishes. Their stainless steel construction, anti-slip bottoms, and shallow depth seemed ideal for him, as he weighs just under 5 lbs. These bowls were made for him, we presumed. Initial impressions, however, can be deceiving. Since we are in the process of moving into a new house, we did not use the bowls or think of them until we located them amidst in our pile of boxes. When we discovered them, we washed them in Dawn dish soap and planned on giving them to our boy the next day since we needed to make a special spot for him in the kitchen. Thankfully, our dog never used these dishes. When we went to use the bowls, we discovered they were rusted. How this is possible is beyond us. Dawn is gentle; we hand washed the bowls and treated them kindly. They should not have rusted, if quality control and quality metals were involved in the inspection and manufacturing processes. We notified Target about our experience, and also noted other reviewers who mentioned these bowls rusting. This is a shame. These bowls are good on paper, but we will not let our dog near rust or the potential hazards it may pose to him. This is not an item we can recommend until the rusting issue is addressed.
