How to use:
AM or PM. Lather between hands + massage into wet skin. Rinse and pat dry.

    Not Gentle

    This cleanser has far too many botanical ingredients and floral oils to be called “gentle.” I love The Honest Company but they missed the mark with this one. I had an allergic reaction to one of the plant derived ingredients — or perhaps it was a combination of all of them. I got hives on my face. This product is not labeled “hypoallergenic” so maybe it’s on me. I’d recommend reading the ingredient list more closely than I did. The smell is very strong and medicinal, which gives you an idea of just how much essential oil is in it. In addition, this product does not really lather all that much and has a very thin consistency. I found that I really had to massage it onto my face more than other cleaners that I’ve used. It did not do a good job removing my tinted sunscreen and mascara. I ended up having to wash my face twice thus exposing myself to more of the product. As soon as my face was actually clean, the hives started popping up. Not a relaxing experience.

    Good cleanser but not my favorite

    I do like this cleanser. I’ve been on the hunt for my favorite non toxic cleanser. I have sensitive/ normal skin, but I do feel like this cleanser causes eye irritation/ burns around my eyes sometimes. I’ve been using it for almost a month now. I think I’m going to try the sensitive cream cleanser to compare.
