nowhere on the outside of the boxes does it say it takes two people to install this shower rod. I am one person and do not have four hands! Shame

hard to put up
Difficult to install under the tension instruction. I followed all instructions and got to the point of putting it up on the wall but when I twist to tighten/loosen, it doesn't work at all. Makes it hard to put it up alone.

Screw mount only
Do not purchase this if you want to use the tension setting. There are two small screws that have to be tightened before you can use the tension mount, and they cannot be tightened to the proper depth to keep the rods at the desired setting. I have tried every tool I can think of and they won't screw in more than halfway. The product is completely unusable.

Cheap garbage
Absolute garbage. The tiny screw you’re supposed to use to tighten the two rods together won’t screw into the metal holes properly. The screws and screwdriver are very cheap as well as the screws were almost immediately stripped trying to fit them into the poorly drilled holes. The whole thing has been rendered useless by what is probably a 2 cents screw.

while the product I received from drive-up orders seems to be a return, with resealed packaging, bent/missing parts, and scratches, they were minimal and did not effect the installation. Assembly and surface mounting was pretty easy. once hung with the curtain in place, it looks good and having the extra space with it being curved, helps a lot.

Help me.
I want to cry. I have been trying to set this up for 2 hours. My roommates now hate me for being loud and my boyfriend is just laughing at me because I’m getting so frustrated I’m screaming. It’s 11pm and all I want to do is shower but the thing won’t turn to loosen it to get the right size. I am going crazy. I am typically a handy person. This is beyond me.

Not able to install with 2 adults
Target stocks 2 versions of a similar rod. Bought both and could not install either with the tension mounting. 2 adults trying to push and it never held tension. Ended up making 3 trips to target that night. Landed on a straight rod for the time being and will ask a man to try and install the curved version. DO NOT RECOMMEND this product

Awful drywal anchirs and worse instructions
The drywall anchors it came with are worthless and the screws stripped them and the anchors pulled right out of the wall. You’ll need to buy decent ones if no stud The instructions were horrendous and I had to create my own instructions to install it since the instructions provided are insane and result in a asymmetric mount since there is no measuring or marking involved.

Save Your Sanity!!!!
Id rather chew on decking nails than EVER have to deal with one of these again. Such an extremely poor design with the brackets. I couldn’t tell you if the tension works or not because I didn’t get that far. Decided maybe to try the permanent solution, nope, awful!!! The rating doesn’t lie folks. Target will be getting their trash back today! I’m kind of shocked this is even a Target item. Thought they’d be better than this.
