A: The paint in this kit is a specially formulated, water-based, weather-resistant one that may stain surfaces. We are only able to suggest soap and water for immediate wipe up of spills. You may need to look into power washing, but we are not able to specifically say and you will need to test a small spot as not to cause damage.

These rocks are so small. Like the size of a ping pong ball. My kid will still enjoy the activity but I wish the rocks were bigger.

Find your own rocks and paint them
Paints were pretty much all dried out & the colors were not as pigmented as the box shows. They came out more translucent on the rocks & the decals were tricky to do. With that said, my toddler did have have doing the craft so points for that

Paint dried out
The paints were all dried up! Otherwise it would have been great but I had to get my own paints so was pretty disappointed and overpaid.

Great activity!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was by far one of my favorite activities I’ve gotten for the kids! It kept them so busy and entertained for about 45 minutes. It also let them be as creative as they wanted and honestly honestly be a little messy too. They were able to be creative, but also have help because they don’t know how to draw too much just yet. We made these for Mother’s Day and my mom will love this for her garden. I would definitely get this again for the boys. They really enjoyed it, they are ages seven and three!

Fun and unique activity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hide & Seek Rock Painting kit is such a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon. It includes rocks, paints, brushes, stickers and an instruction manual. The rocks come in various shapes and sizes, the colors span a wide and basic variety. It is fun to decide which rock could have a certain design. As you can see from my photo I made a strawberry. It was fun yet challenging! The rock needed several layers of paint in order to be fully covered yet it was almost impossible for the paint to not stick on hands and towels. By next morning however the paint had dried to a nice and shiny hardness. As an adult I had fun but also a certain level of frustration. I’m not sure that kids are willing to wait several hours for paint to dry to apply the next layer. I do wish there were more brushes included to make it more of a group activity. All in all it was a fun activity that I plan to do again. I have yet to hide the rocks I have painted and will do so soon.

Fun activity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun activity to do with the kiddos (ages 2 & 9). The product came with easy to follow instructions and all the items needed. My only complaint is the type of paint it came with, really isn’t for the rocks but it still works.

So much fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves doing arts and crafts so when I got this she was excited. She had so much fun decorating the rock for her fairy garden. It was easy for her to use and everything she needed came in the box. A great actiofor kids and for summer to keep them busy.

Not a rockin time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure how long the paint is going to last on these. It was fading before we even put them outside. Not sure if it was the rock type, but I have river rocks that we can try. My kids loved doing it. Instructions were simple to understand.

Fun Activity!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good art activity for kids and adults. The decals are easy to apply onto the rocks, but majority did not stick. A larger paint brush is needed to paint the rocks. Due to the rocks being large and hard, adults needed to supervise small children. Overall, a fun activity!

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the kit! Please be sure to allow the paint to fully cure/dry before applying the decals, or they may not stick. They also work best on painted rocks and may not adhere to unpainted. The kit is recommended for children ages 6+ so some adult supervision or assistance may be necessary for younger childre.

Paint is hard to get out
The idea behind this is fun and cute. However, the paint is next to impossible to get off. Keep a close eye while using this product. Supposedly if any spills are cleaned up when wet, they will come out. We now have stained clothes and it was a pain getting it off the kids’ hands/arms.

We're glad to hear you had fund, but please note the kit contains specially formulated water-based, weather-resistant acrylic paint. Therefore, we include in the instructions that it will dry permanently and may stain clothing, fabric and other surfaces; wear a smock or old clothing, cover your work surface and clean up any surface spills while wet.

Family fun
