Description
ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A. Finally! Sharp knives!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these knives. They are easy to handle, easy to clean and they are sharp! Even cutting my onions felt like I was cutting butter. Finally some sharp knives. Now we have 3 knives- these 2 and a bread knife. That’s all we need. We bought the hand held sharpener too.

Worth It
Amazing knives. I will be sticking with the Pro Series from now on (originally purchased a set that included Twin and the level below). The only improvement would be if the set were to come with protective sheaths, as the larger one does not fit in the wood block from the aforementioned set. Guess I will just have to buy a better block to go with the new Pro Set I am beginning to build.

Great Intro Knives

Perfect upgrade to my current knives. The the shape of the chefs knife makes it very easy to slice with the steeper than average curve on the front. The elongated flat area is great for thin accurate chopping. The pairing knife is perfectly shaped for my hand. They both feature the curved bolster of the Pro line making holding the knives properly comfortable and gives better results. The forged German steel and construction give a great blade that is very sharp, stays sharp for a long time and is easy to maintain.

This set include the top two knives you need in a kitchen. Pro knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and forged from one piece of steel so durable for a lifetime. The bolster is curved and perfect to hold with pinch grip. The knives are also ice hardened which translates to the blade starting sharp and staying sharper longer. They are razor sharp.

Great starter set
I went into a store to try out all the knives they had so that I could find the one that was most comfortable for me and I found that these knife handles were the most comfortable for me to use. I also liked the weight on them. Since they are a bit more expensive than others on the market, I decided to just get this starter set and add onto them as I have more money because I would rather have high quality knives that will last a long time than get a whole set that I will have to replace.
