Description

The Perfect Fitness Multi-Gym is a portable gym system that can be used as a doorway pull-up bar or for sit-ups, push-ups and dips. All Perfect Fitness Multi-Gyms target arms, chest, core, and back muscles with workouts that ensure maximum muscle engagement. The Multi Gym Elite has a curved ergonomic wide grip position for maximum lat engagement. When turned over, all Multi-Gyms have padded handles for comfort and to help ensure correct form doing sit-ups, push-ups, and dips. The Multi- Elite features patented door frame guards that use a unique flat design with thick foam pads to help protect doorframes. All Multi-Gyms are easy to install and do not require any drilling. The Multi-Gym Elite securely fits door frames up to 35" wide and up to 6 " deep.

Q: Door opening is 24 inches will it work?

  • A: Hello mkj, The Multi Gyms are designed to fit doorframes measuring between 29-35 inches (outside edge of doorframe trim). If your doorframe is 24 inches from outside edge to edge, it won't fit. However, if that 24 inches was measured inside the opening of the door, it may be able to. The pads will protect your door frame during use. As long as you follow the proper usage instructions and don't exceed your 300lbs weight limit, your door frame will be fine. Don't Risk It

It sounds like some people were able to assemble this without any issues, but there's a chance that it will come with carriage bolt holes too small for the nut. This makes it impossible to assemble out of the box. It's either a fifty dollar box of garbage or an item that takes so much extra time and effort (and expense, if you don't already have the necessary tools) to assemble that it is not worth a fraction of its price. Or maybe you'll get lucky and receive a functional product.

Difficult to Assemble, Works Great

Once assembled, it works exactly as described on the tin. However, a few of the bolt holes were either misaligned or not fully punched, so I had to spend about an hour filing them open to get the carriage bolts to fit.

So far awesome

I have extremely wide doorways (37") and I was disappointed that so many pullupbars just wouldn't fit, but this one does! it says up to 35" but I took a chance and it's just big enough, probably hits each side about 1/2", which is enough to keep it in place. good sturdy build and the handles come forward so you can really get a wide grip. went together easy too, less than 10 minutes to assemble. overall couldn't ask for more, just so glad it fits. if you have big doorways definitely recommend! Also convenient storage for the Allen keys!
