The "cooling sensation" listed on the bottle is more like a burning sensation. My hair feels great after using it, but I was in pain the entire time I washed my hair.

This was incredibly drying for my 4c hair. I can see using this like every couple months if there's product build up for my hair but it's a hard pass for weekly washings for me.

Hair can look frizzy or dry if it is not conditioned enough. Tips to help with dryness: Try a richer conditioner. Try using a conditioning treatment 2 or 3 times a week. Leave the conditioner on for up to 5 minutes. Use more conditioner on the ends of your hair, which does not get enough of the natural oils from your scalp. Try using a leave-in conditioner instead of one you rinse out. We would like to learn more about this and share this experience with our team. I don’t usually write reviews because I don’t think anyone actually cares. But this shampoo is magic — it worked in ONE WASH. This past Saturday I went to the Aveda salon to get my hair cut, it’s now Tuesday. I don’t know what she put in my hair, but my scalp has been itching nonstop since that appointment. I literally thought I caught lice from the salon. I’ve even been looking up symptoms online to check if I have lice, my scalp has been so itchy and flaky. But the only one I exhibit is the ITCHY SCALP. So on a whim, I ordered this Head & Shoulders shampoo from Target. I usually use Kristen Ess The One, or Christophe Robin exfoliating scalp scrub. Neither of these shampoos helped my cause. I washed my hair with the Head & Shoulders two hours ago, and my incessant itching is GONE. I’m no longer embarrassingly scratching my scalp as if I’m infested. I was expecting results in maybe weeks, but my god. ONE WASH and I’m cured. I’m a believer. I have straight, glossy, smooth East Asian jet-black hair. Dandruff flakes show up vibrantly in my hair. They’re ALL GONE after one wash. I am a H&S convert.

Purchased Head and Shoulders many times, Target did not have the normal combo I get, so I tried this combo. The smell was very strong and burns my eyes from the stong smell. It works for getting rid of itchy scalp and dandruff, but the smell can be overbearing. Will not be getting this combo again.

It really helps a lot alleviate the itching and get those dandruffs taken care off.
