Q: Does the toilet brush sit right on the bottom or is there space so that the brush isn't sitting in the water that drains off?

  • A: Hi LR219, the top of the brush does touch to bottom of the holder. We suggest letting the brush sit between the rim of the toilet bowl with the lid down to drain off as much as possible before setting back in the holder to avoid water sitting in the holder, if that is what you are trying to avoid. Q: How do you heat the label to remove the sticky residue as suggested?

  • A: Safest method for plastics: Soak the caddy in warm water with dish soap for 10–15 minutes. Peel off the label slowly (it should loosen easily). Apply a small amount of: cooking oil, or olive oil, or baby oil. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then rub with a soft cloth or paper towel. Wash again with dish soap and warm water to remove oil.

Q: I noticed the cut out designs on the side. I like to keep my toilet brush soaking in a little bleach water inside the brush holder. Is there a cup or something that will hold liquid in the bottom?

  • A: Hello JP, there is a reservoir in the bottom of this item, that keeps the excess dripping from hitting the floor. However, it isn't very deep. You cannot soak the entire brush head in it. Hope this helps!

    Poor design

    Splash guard is useless, did not prevent toilet water from splashing in my face within the first use. The wand also started rusting soon after, which stained the bristles orange. The final straw was the nasty mold growth in the bottom of the holder/base. Never had this issues with my old toilet brush, which apparently had better ventilation. This one went in the trash within a month of purchasing.

    Sticker leaves residue

    I have not tried using this yet, but I’m very disappointed that the large sticker that comes on the front left sticky residue behind when I tried to pull it off. So I will need to buy goo gone to remove it if I want to leave the brush out in my bathroom.

    Brush may be fine, label removal was not

    Could not get the sticker label off without leaving a bunch of gooey residue!! No one wants sticky goo on their toilet brush caddy, collecting who knows what.

    Bummed!

    Tried to take the label off the front, left a sticky residue that wouldn’t come off! Alcohol, nail polish remover, even a Brillo pad (no paint thinner handy)! Returning!

    I don't care for it.

    The odd shaped top that is attached to the brush means you have to turn the brush around after using it to get it to fit back into it's correct spot. It's not a big deal, but I personally don't want to stand there holding on to the toilet brush longer than I have to. I usually like a tall, concealing holder, but I found this one tips a little too easily and I have cleaned up toilet water on my floor then. ick.. The brush its self is solid and works well, but I am looking for a less troublesome one now.
