Palmers Skin Success Dark Spot Corrector Fade Serum - 1 fl oz: Contains Retinol, Liquid Form, Face Application

Heavy and gel like with strong fragrance and can sting / burn and I’m not even skin sensitive. Don’t feel as effective as some creams / lotions to even out, reduce age spots, freckles etc - seems worthless as of this point in my use of it.

After trying the dark spot night cream (waaaaay too thick & heavy) I tried this serum…. I love the weight of it, however, WHY is it so heavily scented?!? Too much fragrance for my sensitive skin!!! Sooo disappointing… Doesn’t Palmer’s make anything unscented? Back to my old brand of products I go….😫

Tried this for 3 days and it significantly darkened my dark spots all over my body and face. All my progress and money spent on chemical peels and other products gone down the drain and I’m heartbroken.

I have been using the fade serum for 3 months, applying at least twice a day. My spots have cleared quicker than when I wasn’t using anything on them. Some may think 3 mos is a long time, but I think it’s time enough. I believe not picking the bump and allowing it to burst on its own (or use Mighty Patches- they work for me), using sunscreen, and even putting the serum on when it’s just a pimple and not a dark spot yet, makes the serum more effective. You can barely tell I had a pimple in one of the places and I believe it’s because of this routine. I don’t have any progress pictures, but it has worked on my melanated skin. And I have no problems with the pump. Directions say apply to your entire face. Idk why you would do that. Just apply to the spots!

The pump can give you some problems. I have bought this multiple times, and each pump is a hassle. In which case, take a tweezer and use it to pop the bottom of the bottle off.

Product seems too thick to go through the pump delivery system. I had to take it apart in order to use it.

The 'pump' feature on this bottle was very difficult to get started.... it squeaked at first ... then after about a good 5 minutes, it started to dispense. Once it did start dispensing, you must remember to shake the bottle really hard to get lotion to dispense. The contents of the bottle were gone in a week. There was no way to screw off the top to see if there was anything left in the bottle so that one could use up any residue. Really disappointing for a Palmer product. Not worth the $15.00 purchase price.

The pump doesn't work. Came on here and saw others have had the exact same issue. Target should stop selling this, full stop. $12 down the drain.

The pump does not work. The plastic container is thick so I doubt I will be able to cut it open. I’ve wasted my money!

I bought this 2 days ago, in New Zealand. I had many online reviews that said the pump didn't work, but I purchased anyway. Sure enough, and much to my frustration and disappointment, the pump didn't work. No way to access the product. My only option was to cut into it. You can see from attached pics how low the content is. There is a large air gap on top of the (very) small amount of product. The pump will never work under these conditions - it cannot suck up a thick ( or any) product without contact. This product is marketed and labelled as 30ml. With over half of the container being empty, and just by the weight of it in my hand, I was skepticl of the weight. So I scraped our every little morsel, tared the plate I put it on (see pics) and it weighs only 12 grams, not 30! ( a gram is roughly interchangable for a ml) THIS PRODUCT IS A MASSIVE SIXTY PERCENT UNDER WEIGHT! This is worse than misleading, it's illegal. This is why governing bodies, like FTC exist - to make sure consumers are protected by this kind of misleading advertising. I see others here (and elsewhere) have been offered refunds for the fact that the pump doesn't work, but quite frankly, it's not good enough. The packaging needs to be redesigned AND quality assurance needs ramp up so this misrepresentation stops. Before I'm told that the low quantity was 'just my bottle' - it isn't. I have been to 3 different pharmacies, and they all weigh the same in the containers, meaning each and every one sold, is underweight by 60%! Palmers - what are you going to do about this????

Pump would not release any product, but I was not able use it.

Palmer’s please bring back the old formula!!!! I gave this one containing Niacinamide a chance but it darkened me!! My knuckles are dark now!! The first formula was perfect unifying my skin tone, completely fading my dark spots even in toughest area like knuckles and elbows. I’m struggling to find a replacement. You really messed me up!! Please bring back your old formula whatever it takes. If you have to sell it at a more expensive price or set up dermatologist to prescribe it on your website like the other websites do. Please do something don’t just leave us hanging.

I cannot get the product from inside the bottle. I keep pumping and pumping, but nothing. Very defective product.

no frills, just a product that does what it says it will. I noticed an improvement the first week. I have a brighter and more even skin tone. I highly recommend this serum.

It seems that you guys know that your packaging does not work properly. You keep selling it though. Why?

No product in bottle as far as we can see!! Bought item, impossible to get product out of pump bottle, cannot open bottle to see if there is anything in it! Pumped and pumped no product came out!

I have been using this 2x a day for 2 months and my dark spots are almost gone!! I will continue to use this product and I'm thankful for it.

Can I use this to get rid of dark spots on my butt or thigh?
