    Great alternative to a furminator

    Both my lab and I love it, she enjoyed being brushed, and it was very effective in de-shedding. I stopped using the furminator as I saw damage to her coat, and I think this brush is a great alternative to it. There are no sharp edges and it's gentle, yet effective, and inexpensive. Five stars!

    Nice brush for an older smsll dog.

    My little dog (27+) gets groomed every few months. He needs his ears & tail done w/ the wired comb side. The soft brush is great for back & arms-he loves this part.

    Fantastic Cat Brush

    My cats can't get enough of this brush. They love both sides and it does a great job of removing loose fur. When I start brushing one cat they all come. I have a similar dog brush from a pet store but it dies not create the excitement the Up & Up brush does.

    My puppy has short hair with a fine undercoat. I bought this only intending to use the soft side. It didn’t seem to get through my puppy’s undercoat well. I ended up having to purchase a different brush. I can see how the metal side would be helpful for dogs with longer fur.

    Great dog grooming tool

    I have a golden retriever/border collie mix with lots of fur and this brush works perfect to get his undercoat. Detangle with the comb side and finish up with the brush side. Keeps his coat shiny and tangle free.

    Both our dogs are very picky about the brushes we use—our puppy in particular always used to bite at the brush when we would try to brush her. However, she doesn’t seem to mind at all when we use this brush, in fact she closes her eyes & goes to sleep while we brush her!
