Frida Baby 2-in-1 Portable Sound Machine + Nightlight

I love this! Been using it since my baby was born and he is 3 now

So easy to use. If only the buttons had a bit of color on them to use in low lighting.

Unable to see the buttons at night. I literally have to pull my phone flashlight every time I need to turn on or off or change the volume (yes,also to turn its own night light on) I also have issues charging it, I have to set up the charger in a certain way to be able to charge it. Sound quality is good and if I charge it during the day I'm able to use it all night without disruptions.

It keeps shutting off and waking my baby. If I put it on the charger, there’s a bright light that flashes. Worst product.

so many poor design choices in one compact product! does the battery last a long time? No! Does it at least let you keep it plugged in all the time? No - when the battery is done charging it starts draining again until you unplug and plug it back in. Does it at least let you see how full the battery is? No! Well at least there's no annoying light right? Wrong! The light blinks the whole time it's charging. At least the sounds are pretty good right? Wrong! Tell me it's not hard to find the power button to turn the thing on? Wrong again! I'm constantly searching in the dark, even if the nightlight is on! The best thing about this machine is that my baby likes chewing on the strap.

Ours lasted 3 years before it stopped working completely, but after the first year of use it had to be charged every single day or it would turn off within minutes. I’d say spend your money on a better quality sound machine.

We love this sound machine, we use it as our main one and have traveled with it. The hanging options is very useful, it’s easy to pack, and the light comes in handy. Only issue is the flashing light when charging wakes our daughter. Even if you leave it plugged in 24/7, the light will still flash. We have to cover or hide it. Planning to get the hatch as our daughter is getting more sensitive to the flashing the older she gets.

Less than a week of usage it has stopped working. Used it for only a week after our baby was born. Now it shuts down in 5 seconds or so.

We have used this product since our son was born. He is now 3 and needed a new one and we just opened this product and it turns on for a few seconds and shuts off. I am unable to return.

I used the product once and it was working well, but now the light is on and I can’t turn the music on with the power button. The last time I used it, it wouldn’t turn off, and now it doesn’t make any sound at all. Could you help me?

Whoever designed this so that the low battery life/charging signal is a blinding white strobe light has never had a baby. “Yes let’s make it so that this sound machine, designed to help baby sleep will DEFINITELY wake up baby when the battery is low.” What a terrible product design.

This thing was great when it worked but it broke after one year. It’s putting out a static radio noise over all the sounds it’s supposed to make. Really disappointing

This was a must have for the newborn stage! The charge lasts a lot longer than I thought it would!

Very quiet. This may add some background noise but will not drown out anything.

I brought this about two months ago, it worked fine now it shuts off within seconds

This machine is great, it charges easy and is small enough for a pocket so taking it room to room or even a different location is simple. The warranty process is amazing we had some trouble with an item and it is so simple to get it fixes or replaced. All the other Frida's we own we have had foe 2 children with no issues. Love the brand and the products!

I had my baby in February 2025 and was super excited to use this for the features that it has. Unfortunately, it is now April 2025 and it does not work anymore. Tried different outlets to make sure it was not me. Very disappointed because of the reviews I have read about this product and other Frida products.

This thing is amazing I wish I didn’t wait til my third kid to buy it. The sound options is great, my girl loves the shusher and most sound machines don’t have that sound. It also is so portable and smartly designed. I love the handle option and that it’s marked on the strap what the buttons are for when you leave it closed. The night light feature is also so smart for my toddlers when we travel. Two birds one stone. So well made.

Where to start… The low battery indicator is essentially a very bright strobe light. Once the battery is low, the light just starts flashing extremely fast to get you to charge it. It woke my baby up in the middle of the night. For something that straps to a crib to be used at night, you know, to help a baby sleep, you would think it wouldn’t be designed to be something that immediately wakes the baby up. The thing also does not hold the charging cable to even get a charge. It has to be finessed at a very weird angle just to stay in (and this isn’t an issue with mine, I see other reviews with the same thing.) And while you eventually do get it to charge, God forbid you have to charge it at night while in use. Because, again, the charging indicator is a slightly slower flashing bright light that my baby also does not like. You essentially have to remember to charge it during the day for it to ever be useful.
