Awful Book
Bought this book as a Christmas present for my daughter who is 4. She loves Christmas and loves princesses and resembles the little girl on the cover. We read it tonight for her night time story and boy was it terrible. The words, run on sentences, the story line… this book was all over the place and made no sense. Santa got this for her but I’ll be returning it and hope she doesn’t remember getting it. Don’t buy!

This was an odd book with a very scattered story line that was random and didn’t flow well. My almost 4 year old lost interest quick and I regretted purchasing it online without looking at the storyline first.

Un enchanted Christmas Princess
I am a huge Mariah Carey fan and loved her previous Christmas book. I didn't like anything about this particular one. The story line or even the art. Doesn't really look like Mariah so I was never really connected to the story.

Dont buy this odd booj
Weird and not fun to read, this book is disappointing from Mariah Carey. The illustrations are beautiful but the story is hard to follow and there are some unnecessary plot elements. It’s pretty depressing and the parts about the bullies were not appropriate for my 5 year old. Worst of all, for some reason my kid wants to read it over and over. Maybe because it’s long? Help us all and don’t buy this book!

If i could give it a zero i would
This book is not only poorly written with questionable grammar and completely confused is writing styles. Worst of all it’s a sad and rather depressing story let alone a Christmas story? I would not recommend for children period but certainly not under the age of 10 but daughter found it sad and depressing not to mention how confused she was. Just skip it!

I wanted to like it...
I really wanted to like this book because it’s from Mariah but it’s not a well written children’s book at all. Very odd, extremely wordy and doesn’t make a bit of sense. I had to skip over a few words and there were times I wasn’t sure the content was appropriate for my 5 year old. Super disappointed in this book!

Such a strange story. I like Mariah Carey and based off the cover I thought this would be a cute Christmas story but it was not at all. It has a slight mention to Christmas but I wouldn’t even call this a Christmas book or really a book that would be enjoyed by children. Would not recommend.

Strange
This book is beautifully illustrated but the story itself is just strange. It is supposed to be about self worth and a positive message but it just comes across as someone telling their bad childhood memories in a weird way. Absolutely not tied to Christmas itself at all. **Bully character language is too harsh and I had to skip over it for my 7 year old.

This book is terrible. So wordy. Terribly written. Language that should not be in a children’s book, especially a Christmas story. My child didn’t even want me to finish the story because no one has a clue what it’s about.

Honest review coming: I like Mariah Carey and the values/morals this book is teaching are great. That being said, the story itself is so incredibly wordy and boring to a 4 year old that it didn’t old anyones attention. The verses are meant to be rhythmic and there’s just too much extra fluff that it’s so confusing. This is being returned for a different Christmas book.

"The Christmas Princess" is a book that every child needs to read. Actually everyone needs to read this regardless of age, race or gender because it covers so many important topics in a brilliant way that is also perfect for Kids. This is a story that beautifully covers so many life lessons and beliefs that we all want to teach our children. This is truly a inspiration and educational read while still being fun and festive. The whole family will love this book and it's something to be passed down for generations. This is a gread read and I highly recommended to everyone with Kids.
