Great product
This lock works great, especially for the price. My advice would be to look up a video on YouTube; it explains the combination thoroughly. It’s not hard but the directions on the packaging is very confusing. So far so good! Hope this helps

BEWARE- Security Cut Lock and zipper off of Suitcase
Despite this lock claiming to be “Travel Sentry Approved” and allows for “luggage to be opened, inspected and relocked by security authorities without damage”, my locks AND ZIPPERS were cut off of my brand new suitcases leaving them damaged and the contents of my suitcase exposed. Do NOT purchase and use these locks or you could potentially face the destruction of your luggage and lose your contents. Not to mention the waste of time and money on your vacation to replace your items and buy new suitcases for your onward travel/ return home. Such a pain in the neck.

1. Watch the Youtube video instructions for setting your code! 2. After setting your code, try it 3 to 4 times before locking your zippers together! 3. Always remember the first nuber is closest to the top of the lock! I would bet that 99% of the problems people have trying to open their locks is reversing the order of the numbers.

This did not work for me! I couldn’t get it to unlock, and tried for almost an hour to figure it out. It could be user error or a dud, but I would have a backup plan if you buy this in case you run into the same issue.

Busted luggage after using lock
Bought 2 locks for our checked bags and TSA busted through them and broke the zippers on both our bags. Would absolutely not buy again as it appears the lock makes you a TSA target and the airline “doesn’t cover zippers.”

Sturdy but lock hoope tip broke off
The lock broke on my destination to somewhere. I am guessing that customs might have gotten into my bag, but I did not have a note saying such as my husband did. Honestly the lock looked well make and the directions were clear and simple. It was the actual lock hoop tip that was broken off.
