Too Faced Better Than Sex Chocolate Volumizing Mascara - Chocolate - 0.27 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

I swore by this for years. Daily wear. Used tubes longer than you're supposed to (hey, I was young) and it was good for so long. Then after the pandemic I hadn't bought any in ages. I still had an unopened one from before lockdown. so when I finally got a new one I was dismayed but thought it was a one off. did my usual buying during Ulta sales and stashing unopened until I needed it in order to follow best practices for eye health. A few months, nothing crazy. Every single tube I've bought for the last several years has been worse and practically unusable. I was starting to think it was me somehow but turns out there's plenty of mascara that I can apply without clumps. most of it cheaper than this. it changed around the time of the update to eye primer, which is now also terrible. I'm done trying to make it work.

I bought 2 mascaras at once but nothing special!!! I had to add so many layers to make it just a little bit something on my eyelashes!!! Just big NO!

This has been a staple for me since all the way back in 2013 💗 I of course have tried countless over the years! But always find my way back to Too Faced's - Better Than Sex! She always delivers that beautiful bold lash, with volume, length and curl. It can start to flake by the end of the day, esp in the heat. But will always be a go-to for me!!

After the first application I thought something was wrong with the product. It applied as if the tube was old and dried out. The little amount of product that did actually transfer to my eyelashes was clumpy and dry. I had to do more than four applications just to get basic coverage and color pay off. I will definitely be returning this product due to the dry clumpy consistency.

This was an ok formulation but not nearly as nice a mascara as L'Oréal panorama

My first time using this around my eyelids broke out. I have not had any issues with any other brands.

I was a ride or die loreal voluminous lash paradise girly until I finally caved in and bought this mascara and I'm glad that I did. I have seen reviews that it flakes, but I have not had this issue unless I sleep with it on. True black color, and you seriously only need on or two coats to do the job. The wand/brush style is my favorite type, and with the actual product, provides definite extra length and volume to my lashes. I have owned waterproof and regular of the BTS mascara and find the same outcome with both. Love love love. :)

Goes on easy with soft bristle brush but the fallout is terrible. Makes undereyes look dark or messy. Attached photo is from 3 hours after wearing.

This has been my favorite mascara for several years. would suggest it to everyone. Lasts a long timeand really plumps up my thin lashes!

I love love love this mascara. It makes my lashes so full and dark. Might need to use another brush to help with clumps for the first few uses. After that it's perfection!

Never disappointed by this mascara! I always like to try different brands but I buy this one the most.

Okay. This product definitely makes my lashes look good. I usually use tubing mascara, so i assumed id get used to the texture over time, but after a month or so of nearly daily use, it is still incredibly uncomfortable. Very clumpy. And flakes. A ton. And flakes off into my eyeball and it burns. Its too flaky to be a product meant for eye use. Extremelt uncomfortable after a few hours. I dont like spending money to be in pain. Will not purchase again, unfortunately.

I was really REALLY excited to finally work up the courage to buy an almost 30$ mascara! Really tho I had been hearing about this product for years and was so happy to buy it (with a gift card) :) BUT it's MEH the regular smhgular 15ish $ one I usually buy works just as well!!! I promise you. But the actual tube and brush feel nice to hold. But not some amazing life changing product for me.

love this, coats every lash you have and even coats the lashes you didn't even see. should've bought the bigger one, buy it and never feel regret w mascara again

I use the chocolate version and it is chefs kiss. Will repurchase time and time again!

I've been using this product for a few months and recently switched from black to brown. The brown is the most perfect color. The mascara applies smooth, no clumping (I do use a primer) and lasts the entire day and night with out flaking.

This mascara was a game changer for my makeup routine. I used to purchase two mascaras to obtain the look I can achieve with this one mascara, volume, thickness and length. Works great, buildable coverage from lite for day wear look and heavy for a night out look. Moist, love the wand shape and is a true black. …would, and do recommend this mascara.
