A: Gerber Cereals contain trace amounts of naturally occurring sugar – this is part of the carbohydrate content noted in the Nutrition Facts. The Nutrition Facts list less than 1 gram of added sugar per serving, which is not a significant amount in the diet. This is from some of the grain starch that is converted to sugar during the process of making our dry cereals. We do this to help give our dry cereal its very fine flake texture. I love how easy it is to prepare this product. I would either mix in fruit or nut-free or nut butters in the multigrain cereal with some breastmilk. My daughter prefers this one over the oatmeal one. It’s smoother in texture and she prefers the taste over the other.

However, lately she's been on a huge smoothie kick, but unfortunately most of the protein powders and other add-ins I have, contain caffeine or other things either not suitable, or in too high of a serving for kiddos. Enter Gerber Cereals! These have been the perfect way to add nutritional value to my daughter's smoothies in a way that is appropriate to her age and development!

It comes in a nice package with a flip top that makes it easy to pour the oatmeal out. It’s super easy to prepare and all you have to do is mix it with the desired liquid and it’s ready to eat. The oatmeal flakes dissolve quickly and there are no lumpy bits in the mixture. I like how versatile it is and I can use it in combination with other things too. My baby enjoys this oatmeal a lot and usually eats it everyday.

This cereal is packed full of Vitamins C, E, Zinc & 6 B vitamins for healthy development, plus iron for brain development & calcium for healthy bones and teeth. There are also no artificial colors or flavors and is Non-GMO. This is a great second stage food. My baby lives it and gobbles it right down. The consistency is easy to adjust. Perfect amount of iron to supplement if your baby isn't t taking as much milk. Definitely recommend.

The baby enjoys it plain, and it mixes really well. I also add bananas and strawberries when there is time, and that mixes well. The baby is full and the cereal seems to digest well. Great and easy to use!
