Buy an Air Fryer, get the world's best TOASTER. We have had Breville's table top toaster ovens for about 15 years. We decided to get an air fryer and instead of adding an extra appliance, we decided to replace the old toaster oven with this. It has many capabilities (yes, air fryer is high on the list, but you can use it as a proofing box, broil, roast, bake, etc.) but we quickly discovered IT MAKES THE BEST TOAST! It gives you toast that is browned to perfection yet still soft inside! And it has the capacity to do 6 full slices at a time. Well done, Breville!

The handle was dented. Packaging appeared to be factory spec but upon unpacking the oven we noticed the dent. Very frustrating. Returning to Target tomorrow.

Door has a huge gap, but professional repairs are too expensive
The mechanism that keeps the door shut malfunctions easily. Unfortunately this did not first happen to my oven until after the limited warranty was expired. At best this leaves a gap for heat to escape, and at worst it disables the switch that turns on the heat for the oven. I have experienced both. Over the years this has been repaired at least 3 times, but each time the repair only lasts a few weeks before the parts misalign again. Very disappointed at the quality of what should be a high-end brand.

So my wife looked at our air fryer and thought it was old and greasy. Same with our toaster oven. So she asked if I could find a cool replacement that did both. This machine fit the bill, is awesome, and is simple to use. Plus there was a bonus: it toasts wonderfully so we got rid of our 20 year old toaster too! Everyone in the family loves it. And our counter top is much cleaner and simpler.

Huge Disappointment
It is impossible to clean. Grease & splatters bake into the interior, the racks and the glass. The air fry feature takes much longer than other air fryers. The panel went dark the other day & I could not see or program any cook features let alone set a temperature. We plugged & unplugged it about 5x before it lit up again. We purchased it less than a year ago. That said, the capacity is perfect and it takes minutes to preheat. It's an eyesore because it cannot be cleaned properly and it is already malfunctioning. I do not recommend this appliance at all. If we hadn't paid $400 I'd get rid of it today.

Quality has changed
After five months the screen quit working my second one in five years and when I unboxed this one I noticed the metal was thinner and the quality wasn't the same and within five months it stops working the one I had previously was at least five years old before it quit working. A great oven for the summer especially it cooks without heating the house up. I'm not sure I'll buy another I'm looking at different brands it's too bad because Almost everything I have is Breville

This oven takes forever to cook. The catch tray does not align with the door leaving at least a one inch gap. It takes at least 7-8 minutes to toast a piece of bread. After the cycle is done, it takes 10-12 minutes to shut off. And a 14 lb turkey, oh please, it barely fits a 6 lb chicken and wouldn't even fit a turkey breast. I regret this purchase.

Great size and so many options!
We purchased this as a replacement for the smaller version which we used all the time. This model has much more capacity but takes up just slightly more space than the smaller one. Also, has several features and cooking modes the smaller oven lacks. We love the precision, the capacity (a 9x13 pan fits nicely) and the air fry and other precision modes. Also easy to clean.

Seems worth the price which is rare these days
It seems well designed, it seems to have better insulation than most countertop air fryers which is to say none at all on most whereas this one seems to take a while to get hot on the outside which implies that there is some kind of insulation in there which is good I appreciate efficiency. It's a good size, the screen could be a little better it's really hard to read unless you are looking at it at a very specific angle. So far the coating is holding up on the nonstick inside I do cook a lot of bacon in mine so it tends to have to deal with a lot of oil and at least so far it's not baking on super hard I'm able to wipe it down with just a damp cloth. I like the magnet to pull out the tray when it's in the air fryer mode that's helpful I do wish the magnet went up and down the whole thing so that it could help pull it out just a little bit regardless of its position but I understand why they put it there only. I do like that some of the extra features like Frozen actually do something different it does actually change the way the heating elements put out the Heat to avoid burning the outside while the the'si nice the most crumb tray has enough clearance that I can put a layer of tinfoil on it without it jamming. Not a feature most manufacturers probably think about but I appreciate it because it's how I keep the crumb tray nicer I just put some tin foil on it and when that gets too dirty I can just replace it. The most important feature that I am very happy about is the preheat. So many air fryers are trying to do that 60 second or less preheat bs and it's just a lie. It is literally not possible on a 15A outlet to get to 300-400° in that short of time. So thank you for actually doing a real preheat cycle that actually gets up to temp
