Any cooking vessel, and the food being cooked in that vessel, would need to fit within those dimensions. Enjoying Exploring Smart Oven Features.
We have only had the Breville Smart Oven for a few weeks and are still exploring the many features. The machine is certainly a “Smart Oven” as the type of food in most cases can be dialed in and the coking information is automatic set. This coupled with the instructions that can be found on the Breville app makes trying a multitude of items easy and fun. So far great success. 😀. We expect to use this oven for many dishes rather than heating up our large stove oven for efficiency and time savings.

So far, so great!
We wanted an oven that could also dehydrate our herbs and other foodstuffs, but we didn’t want another small appliance that would take up cupboard space. So we upgraded our old Breville toaster oven for this model. The fact that it’s a three-in-one made us choose the Smart Oven, and it’s wonderful. Air frying is new to us, and it was easy to make sweet potato fries. We have much more to explore in terms of the capabilities of the new oven, but it was certainly worth the price…and the old one still works great too. We’ll pass that along to another family member. We love Breville.

The oven came very nicely equipped with a variety of pans and racks. It heats up quickly, is easy to use and I have been very pleased with the quality of the meals I have prepared in it. I purchased it to use as a second oven but find I am using it as my primary one.

Expensive Toaster Oven
It's a very expensive toaster oven that requires a lot of clean up after cooking!! Grilling, heating on a cookie sheet in the oven is a lot easier and less hassle than this air fryer!!

I use it every day
I’ve been very pleased with Breville’s Smart Oven. It’s my second of this model. I had my previous for approximately 3 years and the one before that (a different model) for 1 year. I just wish they’d last a little longer, but I’m not too broken up about it considering that I use it every day.

Short LIfespan Chronic Problems
This toaster oven is a great investment while it works. I got a couple of years out of it when the door stopped closing all the way. After a few days of frustration i gave up for a few weeks. Watched some youtube repair videos and got the door closing after taking the off. A real pain especially for such an expensive product. Very common issue, rail that guides door warps with time, i assume its a heat issue. Timer stopped working soon after, toaster heats up to temp and shuts off. Kinda made everything but toaster oven feature useless. More Youtube video shows a switch the the door engages to start isn't being engaged as a result of a door not engaging a bracket upon closing. I adjusted (bent/unbent) until I heard click engaging. Worked once or twice, but timer is useless, so cooking is impossible. I don't want to open it a third time, since the first two weren't that fun.Don't buy this unit. works just past warranty and then it becomes landfill.

We've had this air fryer for about two now, and we literally use it every day. I love it most as an air fryer, but all the other functions have been awesome too. The price was very reasonable considering how much this thing does and how pretty it is.

Longevity Review, 2 years of ownership
I bought this oven two years ago and type this review after using it well. The product does what it is supposed to do with every feature used. I am dissapointed by the failure of the fan after one year of heavy use on super convection setting. Fan stops spinning. It makes loud noise if trying to get fan working. As a comparison, my previous convection toaster oven worked as well as this Breville unit. The display on the unit stopped working after 5 years. I am giving this review 2/5 stars because failure of the fan after 1 year heavy use did not make it a substitue for a kitchen convection oven. I bought it to test if it can replace convection oven. I do not recommed this product for longevity. I know the fix is to send them the unit for repair, but I doubt the repair fixes the fan issue if it happens again the next year after heavy use on super convection.

Cooked great until the plug melted
We used it for 2 weeks camping. We tried to unplug the oven and the plug was melted to the outlet.
